I actually preferred TQ‘s and SCC‘s kissing. They did a wonderful job displaying the first kiss/first relationship atmosphere. Also I think their kiss in ep32 in his garden when it snowed was very beautiful, poetic with the right amount of passion.

I think Filter would appeal to a wider audience if they got a chance to get to know it. Oh well.

Yes I really hope Zhen er yu long will be released internationally! Everyone keeps saying that Filter didn’t do so well internationally, but I wonder if that’s only review-wise or if Tencent also didn’t make that much money with it on an international level.

I didn’t know 4 and 8 because I didn’t see them. His movie was never released in Europe.
The others I guessed right 😀. I was deliberating between 2 and 7 but XL‘s eyebrows are lighter.

I‘m really happy Filter did so well in China, but I also wish it did better internationally. I really don’t know why it didn’t do better. I live in Europe (no Asian roots) and I loved Filter. Imo this drama did a great job explaining and showing how TQ’s actions were all related to the „filter“ he was having on, to his low EQ, his past experiences etc.

Many people are shallow and don’t even want to use their brain. And with the short form medium trend this is getting even worse.

It’s not for Europe.
But I‘m happy for the Filter team that it will air on Netflix Asia 🥳
