Absolutely incredibly amazing!!

I was stunned to see the score here and the bad reviews…like what’s wrong with those people?? The reviews are absolutely not founded on the reality of the drama.
Is the first ever drama I watched that didn’t give me headaches and bad vibes because of the bad things happening again and again.
The drama is easy: romantic, comedy, beautiful story, beautiful music, beautiful actors etc.

I highly recommend watching this drama if you want something that will make you laugh and will leave a positive feeling.

WHY DOESN'T THIS SERIES HAVE 10 OUT 0F 10? SERIOUSLY THE BEST DRAMA MADE IN THE LAST YEARS!!!

I have just finished watching "Till the end of Moon", and how to say, I feel a bittersweet taste and nostalgia. Honestly, I have watched all fantasy/history Chinese dramas and I had a long list of favorite ones, starting with classical, however, this drama contains everything that you could probably want from a love/fantasy story, portrayed in the most perfect way!

- Mesmerizing actors, Luo Yunxi (Tantai Jin) and Bai Lu (Li Su Su) who have such a mystical chemistry, I felt their emotions thought the series, they have each portrayed three couples in the drama, three different, yet similar personalities each , also their desire for each other, face expression, sadness, love, desire, hatred...(I cannot find all the words, if you are a truly romantical/emotional person, you will know what i am talking about)
- Breathtaking costumes, Tantai Jin had some amazing costumes, both as a Demon God and as Tantai Jin, he looks truly handsome! I fell in love with him in this drama even though I have watched him in others as well, in this drama he shined!
Also Bai Lu , she looks like a fairy princess, I admire her beauty in everything she wears. All in all, all the costumes looks stunning!
- Fairy, heavenly make-up on both actors in different scenes!
- The best story development, best different stories integration, best plot twist.
- Best sceneries, images, colors.
- Amazing OST, I have watched them on repeat since I started the drama
- So far the best love scenes I have watched in a Chinese drama, most passionate kisses, touches, tension, sensuality
- Life lessons

Expect to get very hooked in the story, expect to laugh, to cry, to dream, to FEEL like you need that ONE person to be there to save you, to believe in you.

The end will leave you crying, and also speechless, the message he left her in the stone grave, made me emotional to the core, imagine from the guy that was bullied, hated and had a cruel life and fate, wanting to destroy everything, he ended up giving his own life for the sake of the world who was so mean to him.
This is also a life lesson for me.
Tantai Jin, as a character, you are amazing!
Thank you!

It’s worth your time!

I will start this review with the fact that I wasn’t expecting to like this short series as much as I do after first reading the reviews.
It started very slow at least for me, I couldn’t figure it out if I should continue watching it or no, but believe me that after 3rd episode you will be so engaged in the story that you wouldn’t want it to finish.
The first thing that hooked me up was the soundtrack (that I am still looking for), the actors played very well, and I kinda shipped the main actress with all three of them, but of course my favorite would be the guardian.
No spoilers but I cried so much at the end, for me it was a perfect story...wish it was longer...
So watch it, in my opinion this mini series is absolutely amazing!

The best drama I have ever watched in my life!

How should I begin this review? With all sincerity, after watching almost all fantasy Chinese dramas, I though I would never find a drama to completely adore.
Even trough Ashes of Love, Eternal love etc I skipped some parts that I thought were boring, but I never skipped a part of this drama. I lived it as I was there, part of the cast, and also daydreaming about it.

For some reason, after watching Eternal Love, even if I heard about Legend of Fuyao, I didn't want to watch it until I wanted to give it a try.

The first episode, was a little confusing to me, I thought "good, but probably I am going to drop it later on". The second episode got me so hooked that I was jumping on my bed and my eyes hurt from watching episode after episode haha.

Let's start with with the main actors.

Gosh, I fell in love with Ethan Juan, he deserves an Oscar for his acting, the way he flirted in this drama made me blush and scream like a little girl, then his moments of pain, of courage and total devotion. I am sure you will love him as much as I do.
Yang Mi, I thought her acting and chemistry with Ethan was way, way, way better than in Eternal Love.

This is also first time for me when I actually searched on youtube my favorite scenes of the drama, created a playlist and re-watched them.

I even loved and watched the other love stories and stories of this drama, I didn't feel bored of watching the evil actors, or the second couple, or the other characters, that's how good this drama is.

The music is fantastic, 10 out of 10.

This drama is divided in two parts, so don't be scared that it will change at some point. I personally loved that, it felt like I watched two great dramas in just one.
I felt like it was that way to show the real growth of their love story, the young one that is without real pain, when everything is butterflies and the second one which is more mature and carved with difficulties.

I could have said more and give you an insight about everything, but I don't want to ruin the joy of living it by yourselves.

And now with tears in my eyes because it actually finished, I am going to re-watch it again...the downside of it is that it is so short :(

Ah, now I feel so sad, really amazing, amazing drama.

Good job, cast, director, writer, soundtrack, effects, costumes.

So this is my first review and I don’t usually post reviews but this time I really felt the need to.
Before watching dramas I come here to read the reviews and decide if it’s worth watching.
At first I read some disappointing reviews in which people complained about the ending, the chemistry, the action.

Guys don’t fool yourself by taking into consideration those comments. I gave it a try and I have no regrets.

This drama is funny, yes, there are a lot of scenes where you laugh hard. It’s very engaging because of the story, you definitely want to find out what is happening, the plot twist was also very good. Once I had an idea (I thought) about the criminals it suddenly changed. So you won’t get bored, I promise.
The chemistry is there, I felt it, it is true that at the beginning you may feel that the main female character is a bit annoying but that is because of the factors from the story.
The male lead, Black, OMG, you’d want to watch this drama at least for him for sure. I absolutely adored how he acted, his expressions, his feelings. That guy deserves an Oscar...

I literally have to admit that I cried at the end...hard. Even tho it is not the typical happy ending...it was meaningful, the sacrifice for love, what he did in my opinion was the extreme gesture of love.

In the end I would definitely, definitely recommend this Kdrama. You won’t regret watching it because it leaves you with some thinking about the meaning of life.

I love it! I love it! I wanna cry now that it finished!

I haven’t been a fan of Dilraba so far, I am not sure why I skipped all her dramas.
But I absolutely loved her acting and the chemistry with Ren.
The music is so beautiful, I had it on repeat and I didn’t skip the intro and otro.
I think that the dynamic of the drama was well constructed, all the actors played really well and the script spared us from unnecessary drama.

I have watched both, part 1 and 2, so I am going to leave the review for both. I actually also learned a lot from it such: sometimes its just better to be open and honest with your partner as well as giving the freedom to be themselves.

I definitely recommend watching this drama, it had everything and the romantic scenes are oh la la! ❤️

BEST BL DRAMA I HAVE EVER SEEN !!! Watching again after just finished!

10/10 why?

Surprisingly I have started this series a year ago when it appeared, but for some reason I dropped it after the 1st episode. Lesson learned to always give a chance to the series that may have no logic or seem not interesting at the beginning.

One year later, by accident, I start again and I had like a deja vu while watching, then I remember I have actually started it a year ago, but this time I wanted to give it a chance.

Firstly, I want to comment on the score that it has here. I am quite disappointed after watching it to see so many bad reviews. People compare it to The Untamed. I understand the hype for The Untamed, but objectively speaking Word of Honor is way better.
My point is, and I haven’t seen this in any other drama, bl or fantasy etc. The dialogue was so beautifully created. I have stopped and rewatched many of the scenes only for the dialogue and I have also written down some quotes. You can feel the chemistry, love and affection only, and only by reading the dialogue while is composed mostly of classic sayings and poems from different dynasties.

Secondly, the chemistry and beauty of the two male leads is breathtaking. There are no kisses obviously because of the censorship. But there are a lot of glances, hugs, touches, flirting and many more.

I loved their every interaction and how beautifully their story grew from two people who were nothing to two people who would risk and give their life for each other.

There were a few scenes that I have recorded on my phone and I have been rewatching them for 100 times and I am not joking.

The special scene where Lao Wen was drunk in the room and Ah Xu came, Lao Wen looked at him a little confused when he felt his hand touched by Ah Xu and looked at him with desire and admiration…that scene is sooooo powerful!

Or the one when they called each other’s name three times!

- "I just feel that to be alive, to have the sun shining, and to have someone for me to call is so good."

Or when Lao Wen was again drunk and he hugged Ah Xu…

- The world is not important, what's important is finding a soulmate

I can say for sure that I have never felt so obsessed with a drama the way I am still with this one. I rewatched the episode over and over, the BTS and I still feel emptiness after it finished, like I would never be able to find a drama as better as this one.

Gong Jun and ZhangZheHan were perfect for each other, I can say for sure now is not easy for me to see them play with others.

Watching the BTS also makes me wanna thank ZhangZheHan for putting so much effort into his acting and even in directing some of the sugar scenes, to the director, crew, scenarist and everyone who was involved. Also a big shot out to Gong Jun who portrayed We Ke Xing so well!

Guys, this drama will be life changing for your if you like romance, deep meaning, if you are emotional.

Chill, funny, romantic drama with beautiful actors

Hi there,

I decided to leave a review because of the bad reviews I read on this drama.
At first, I had mixed feelings if I should watch it or not…and I started pretty low, that’s why maybe in the first episodes I didn’t pay too much attention.

I would say the first episodes are confusing and somehow boring. It starts serious, and then it becomes all of a sudden funny.

• The acting is quite interesting, I really fell in love with the ML and FL, plus the support roles. It was the first time when I really, really also liked the second ML because he is really handsome and also was acting very nice. The helper of Ji Huang is also funny, I had a good laugh because of him many times.

I guess I started to like this drama when the beautiful, perfectly romantic scene between the FL and second ML appeared: the rain in slow motion, she and him making eye contact, from that moment I watched all episodes with a lot of interest.

• Action: Ok, so if you are into a lot of drama and action, maybe this drama is not for you. It does contain plot twists, action, on and off between FL and ML, but, BUT, it’s not that kind of drama! The story is more chill, more relaxed and even in the bad situations when the evil people appear, it gets quickly resolved…I would recommend this drama for the people that don’t really like problems or to cry too much!

• The music is gorgeous! I saved the OST in my playlist and I’ve been listening since.

• I really love the ML, already searched foe other movies with him and I hope to see him play in many series .

I don’t want to make it long, as a conclusion if you are into romantic/cheesy drama, funny characters, relaxed plot and beautiful actors I recommend you to watch this drama.

Why I gave 8.5/ 10? Well, you will see that after the ML finds out that the FL is in fact a woman, I felt they rushed too much the plot…he became all of a sudden her boyfriend and didn’t question anything. I felt that they could have left a little more space between him finding out Tian Qi is a girl and them being a couple in front of everyone.

I almost never leave a bad review…but this time I will

Hi there!
If you have seen some of my other reviews, you know that I almost never left a bad review. I enjoy C drama very much, and I can say that I watched almost all historical/ fantasy chinese dramas out there.

I don’t know why people here seem so thrilled about this drama, it may be that they haven’t seen others and don’t have a comparison or otherwise I really don’t know.

I love Yang Mi, she is a great actress and I believe her poor acting here was not her fault, but the script itself. I felt she couldn’t act like herself…everything was dull…

William Chan, I am sorry to disappoint many of you out there that like him, but he made me so bored, no expression on his face at all. Like he can play a dramatic scene, sad scene, fighting, romantic and still have the same face that doesn’t say anything at all.

I decided to drop this drama since I couldn’t watch it, really boring…
It started pretty well in the first episode, but after that it went down hill.

And what’s up with Xu Kai Cheng? Mama mia, I think his character didn’t have any base at all. I understand that he is mean for a certain reason, but his actions don’t lead anywhere.

Also, too much Bl drama. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the untamed because at least it had a consistency, but this one doesn’t. I feel that there’s no need for any female lead since the BL that doesn’t make any sense take up all action.

Overall, even the costumes are average, I also don’t get why people say that the costumes look amazing…even in Legend of fuyao, that was filmed in 2018, they had better costumes.

The music also very average….

I am really disappointed about this drama.
