I was wondering why you said she looked elegant. I didn't notice a credit for her and looked at the end of episode 12 for it.

Chuchakorn Jitviroj does have a single credit in IMDb as additional crew on a 2010 show called Point of Entry.

I didn't even notice that Ming's mom didn't have a credit because she was just a guest actress. Joe's mom had a pretty substantial supporting role in the series so I was shocked she had no credit for it.

Throughout the series we never hear about the soul of Joe 2, so we have to assume that Joe 2's is dead.

We find out late in the series that Joe 1's body is also dead, so it looks like we are taking "car parts" and making a new human.

We never find out.

It confused the hell out of me too and I finally went to Reddit and read multiple explanations.

When Joe dies he gets a new body. So the soul of Joe 1 and the body of Joe 2.

Characters in the drama see Joe 2, which is why they don't recognize him. And his mother doesn't understand that her son's soul is someone new, although she figures it out in time because of his behavior.

However the audience (the people watching the BL) still see Joe 1s body and face, The only way we know that the body has been switched is when Joe looks into a mirror.

So when we are looking at him in his day today activities the audience sees Joe 1 played by Poom, but when he looks in a mirror or we are seeing him through the eyes of another character Joe 2 appears on the screen played by Winner.

Glad to know I wasn't the only person driven crazy by this.

And PS. It becomes way less confusing as the series moves on even if you didn't get this explanation.

Yeah. The last episode was the weak point of the series.

It would have been better if they concentrated on more family healing and more commitment between the MLs.

I loved this drama. Just finished watching it yesterday. The only thing that confused me was the body switch part since Joe looked exactly the same before and after the body switch. So I finally went and did a Google search on this and found some Reddit explanations.

Apparently the audience sees his body the same but the characters in the drama do not, and this is shown when Joe sees his reflection in the mirror. After that it made sense.

Anyway just in case someone else was as confused as I was.

Otherwise the leads had great chemistry both in and out of bed. Ming starts out as a toxic asshole but when he loses Joe after the accident he undergoes a dramatic change although he is still overly possessive after they are reunited.

The story is about the growth of both characters. Ming becomes an actual grown up as opposed to a spoiled rich kid, and Joe learns that he doesn't have to put up with being a Stand-In if he chooses his own path in life.

Only thing that's still driving me crazy about this drama is the woman who plays Joe's mother has no credit and I cannot figure out who the actress is that played her. I've done many many searches, so if anyone knows please tell me!

I didn't think much of it either, but if you want to see a really good BL, provided you haven't seen it already, try My Stand In. Not only do the leads have great chemistry both in and out of bed but it has a thrilling plot.

I didn't fast forward anything but I did pause a lot and I was mind numbingly bored by this drama so it's possible that it didn't sink in.

I never read the book but his declaration of love came out of nowhere. Throughout the rest of the series Thiwthit was doing whatever he could dirty or otherwise to scam his brother out of the leadership role at Crown.

When he sabotaged the proposal, grabbed the ring and put it on his finger I couldn't stop laughing. I have no idea what his motivations were and I'm not sure what his role in the series was except maybe for comedic relief?

He was the kind of guy that should end up talking to inanimate objects on a bench. 😵‍💫

In the book both Ramil/Paytai and Ava barely had any role and also it really wasn't a romance. Out of a 1600 page book they first have sex around page 1200. So if they wanted to make this into a Zeenunew romance they had a lot of work to do.

And while Ava doesn't drop out she is sabotaged so that she loses the fencing match. Not sure that makes much difference.

Plus the outcome in the book was completely different than the outcome in the series. In the book there was no more monarchy and in the series Tharin becomes king.

I think the changes were made to make it a little bit more character centric and it worked in some places didn't work in others.

The one area in which I think the series was way better than the book was that there was the expectation that Charan and Khanin will assist the king In the future with the pollution crisis. Whereas in the book both of them completely dropped out of anything to do with the new government.

Most of the audience that watches a series with Zeenunew is looking for a romance. And the book had very little of that. Even the series had a whole lot less of it than Cutie Pie.

I'm not even sure why Aof had this book written because it wasn't the right vehicle for the MLs, and then they had to redo everything in an attempt to make it into a romance.

I thought the NC scenes were relatively horrible although I did think the couple had good chemistry outside of the bedroom.

It's hard to do a good time travel plot and this series did not do a good job. There was some things that just made me LMAO which I think weren't intended to do that.

For instance when Thiwthit ambushed Tada's proposal, grabs the ring and sticks it on his finger? I almost died laughing. When did he ever say he was in love with his stepbrother? There is such a thing as plot development.

I give the producers brownie points for trying an innovative plot outside of the usual BL trope, but it wasn't well done and I found it mostly confusing.

It took me 5 hours to get through the first episode and 3 hours for the second one, with a lot of that time leaving the show on pause while I took a Tylenol. I only continued to the end because everybody else loved this show so much. Unfortunately I wasn't one of those people. Reset gave me a headache.

That's because the entire dramas OST was comprised of two songs.

Honestly, I had a hard time getting through it.
