i think if a series is really really popular, it gets more hate. People forget to have fun while watching a series…
I think because it had a higher budget at least by Thai BL standards and the wait was long, fans were expecting Lincoln, My Left Foot or Oppenheimer.
It's still a Thai BL set against a royal background. I thought the actors were good, but not Daniel Day-Lewis or Cillian Murphy.
It was good entertainment, the leads and secondary couple had amazing chemistry. It had a happy ending, although the bad guys didn't get what was coming to them (except for Wasin).
It had the elements I expected in a BL romance.
I've done my best to post some thoughtful comments here and there which have probably been drowned out by trolls and haters who are not providing thoughtful comments as to why they don't like the series. And that's sort of a shame.
It wasn't perfect and I always pointed out what wasn't perfect in my opinion. But overall I liked it a lot.
There has to be more of an agenda involved with the haters. Normal people just stop watching shows they don't…
I don't think that at all. There are trolls everywhere. The only way you can get rid of them is to have a moderated discussion group and most of them aren't.
There has to be more of an agenda involved with the haters. Normal people just stop watching shows they don't…
It's been the number one watched BL for the last 14 weeks. I doubt anything that happens on this discussion board will have any effect on them whatsoever. I don't even know if anybody connected with the series has even read any of these comments.
Ballchon. Dome is his older brother, but they are both fabulous singers.
I just watched an interview that Poppy did with Ballchon on YouTube today. Learned a lot of stuff about him that I didn't know, like he was an acting coach and worked with NuNew on Cutie Pie.
He talks a lot about being in the shadow of his brother Dome and a lot of people confusing him with his older brother.
Because most viewers don't agree with you? Including me. Live with it.
On this discussion board there seems to be a proliferation of people who just want to keep complaining about a show they're either not watching anymore or never watched.
But the fact is TNP has been the most watched BL around the world for the last 14 weeks. People don't generally keep on watching series that they hate, they just drop them.
BTW I don't know what "oh what a glamor" means and I'm a native English speaker and journalist, so I have a pretty good vocabulary. Is this some kind of UK slang?
He was moving to the UK to get a master's degree in pollution management. Since neither you nor I invented the…
Khanin had been in the UK since he was a baby. He was in Emmaly for around 3 months. Not surprising he wanted to go back home.
So he went back to an education system where he felt comfortable and was in the process of getting his masters.
He will have more education and able to help whether or not the two of them ever wind up moving back to Emmaly.
And FWIW this was actually a more satisfying ending than the book where a decision is made to have a more democratic government run by a board in each clan.
But Khanin completely bows out of any involvement in the new government after Ava, Ramil and he help establish it
In the end they do move back to Emmaly but Charan remains an art professor and Khanin plans to open a fencing school.
I rarely comment but wow the antis are here with the negativity.. I understand it lacks some point, but nothing…
There has to be more of an agenda involved with the haters. Normal people just stop watching shows they don't like and don't make a career of posting their hate on internet discussion boards. But when I say something they get all perturbed and tell me they have a right to bitch and moan. It does make it a lot more difficult to find the few thoughtful comments about the series.
And.... I'm done... !!! oh, it was so hectic even after knowing the full story already, I still was secretly wishing…
Neither Ramil/Paytai nor Calvin/Jay had much of a role at all in the book. They invented a story for each of them because they wanted to give Jimmy/Ohm and Net/JJ an actual acting role.
None of the characters, not even Khanin and Charan got a full story arc. We leave them at the time when Charan proposes.
In all cases the characters are left with that hope for a positive future. The resolution between Ramil/Paytai is that Ramil finally steps away from evil Daddy which is the only thing he could have done to make Paytai's life better if they were going to remain as a couple. They are two broken souls who will hopefully be able to navigate the future together.
Even Khanin and Charan's story isn't fully resolved. They know they will be together forever but the plot leaves us with Khanin still pursuing his Masters in pollution control with the idea that both of them will help King Tharin with the air quality crisis in Emmaly afterwards.
They had the novel to follow but they said scrap it and made their own story.
If they followed the book Khanin and Charan would have moved back to Emmaly for him to be a fencing instructor and Charan to be an art professor.
In the series Khanin has moved to the UK to study pollution management. So there certainly is some expectation that the both of them will move back to Emmaly some day to help solve the crisis or at the very least offer consulting advice.
It was the one part of the series that I thought was more satisfying than the book.
I liked the series but thought the last episode was terrible. Khanin makes such hoopla over pollution and the…
He was moving to the UK to get a master's degree in pollution management. Since neither you nor I invented the realm of Emmaly, we don't even know if studying there was an option.
Never seen Bridgeton or The Young Royals, in fact I never even heard of the second one, but I did enjoy the series,…
I'm from the US where 100 million baht ($3 million USD) would cover the cost of one episode of TNP. Since you seem to be into Royal dramas Downton Abbey, the last episode of which aired 10 years ago, cost $1.6 million USD per episode.
I know it's cheaper to do things in Thailand but there is a limit.
I did a review of the finale below but it's very long, balanced but very long. I don't know how many people will actually want to read it but I enjoyed writing it so I don't care. Take a peek if you feel like it.
I don't post a whole lot on Reddit but when I do I post under the same name as here.
Maybe it’s because I went into this show not expecting a plot-driven series, but I actually really enjoyed it…

I knew he looked familiar but I couldn't place it until I saw that picture.
I think Zee has had a long time connection with Dome. He sang his song "Last Love" at NuNew's first DreamCatcher concert.
Picture of them both together a few years ago from Dome's Insta page.

If the majority of the world doesn't agree with you on something maybe it's you that has the problem.

Look here and scroll down to original soundtrack to see what songs are part of the OST and who sang them.
There is one more song from the final episode that is not included yet but it will be shortly I'm sure.
