Lu WenJun is completely ethically bankrupt with regard to his profession. I couldn't care much for the hateful characters and would ignore them and ff as they came on screen but I couldn't even stomach seeing him for a second at any point he showed up during the last few episodes that I watched. I don't know if it's because Chinese dramas writers don't research professions enough or if they just wanted to write a soap plot device (seems kind of both) but wow. I started the drama to see if Sun Yi could actually carry a role (still not sure that she can) and I endured 22 episodes because of the initial child actors and Wallace Chung; however, not even WC could check my repulsion of LWJ to keep me going another episode.

Giiiiiirl! Let me just say: Taiwanese dramas are the best! When done right, not Korea, not China nor Japan's best come close. The best of the best scripts come out of Taiwan, the rawest acting does, and the most swoon-worthy cp's. This is, of course, my opinion but I still hold to it after over 10 years of watching dramas -- from all three countries.

This drama takes the cake for the most cheesy lines of any I've seen. It's like the writing team took out an encyclopedia of the most used tv tropes and dialogues to work on the script.

what years?
honestly there are a lot of balls being juggled: parallel universe, quantum physics, appearing in mirror/disappearing other self, magic flute, time travel, not aging... so many concepts

True! His reason for staying behind isn't convincing at all. We've had zero indication that he holds romantic…
you hit the nail on its head.

OMG HOW CAN HE SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. I THOUGHT HE WAS SMART XD
maybe that was the reason he was searching for -- to stay in her world.

Yes I sense no chemistry between both leads but there is nothing wrong with Kim Go Eun's portrayal! She is a hardened…
don't you feel like they are baiting us though as in is she falling for it or not.

Nothing much in the first two episodes, well, except for the full-on bb.q commercial. I was just... it was like...…
Oh man, I can't take LMH's acting seriously - I'm a bit addicted because of my fond memories of the utterly ridiculous BOF. There's a perpetual smirk on his face when he's supposed to be romantic, stiffness in his body when he's supposed to be serious, and all-around goofiness when he's supposed to be comedic.

BTW, if you didn't think LMH was handsome enough, just check out all the characters in this drama - male and female - who stan him.

Nothing much in the first two episodes, well, except for the full-on bb.q commercial. I was just... it was like... seeing something shocking before my eyes that I couldn't look away from. I don't know man...I think I'm traumatized. *head desk*

This makes me think of American tv. With American tv shows, the whodunit is usually any actor who's been highly visible in other shows. Even if they weren't a villain before, I am always like...he's the bad guy, yup, I just saw him in the episode of a current/recent airing show.

Okay, y'all. I've been trying to find the source novel and coming up short. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Title Rugal
Seriously, I can't even finish Ep.2. From the space looking suits that remind me of star trek to the seemingly useless bionic abilities to American-esque sci-fi vibes, this show feels stale. Nothing in this drama resonates with me. I think this is a drop.

It’s surprising how his character doesn’t realize the impact his natural hotness has on women like the restaurant…
hehe. i know.
