It was suicide according to the webtoon but in it, he didn't take Jee Won (Misa)'s ashes if i remember correctly.…
thx for the explanation, I didn't read the webtoon, but watched the k-drama. It's quite surprising they execute the replacement very different in webtoon and k-drama.
I'm curious how far they made changes in this version vs original webtoon? Did ML also see how FL died in webtoon?
Re-watched ep 5 and just notice subtle gesture from Wataru. He seems hugged Misa's ashes tighter while he walked through the chaos in her funeral. Like he didn't want anything to hurt her anymore.
Some said he probably kill himself by drove off from the bridge while taking her ashes. But, I didn't think Wataru would do that to her loved one, he must be want to gave proper funeral for Misa first
I really hope they don't go to suicide path for Wataru.
ML in webtoon version indeed do suicide, right? While the k-version made it as an accident
I think it will be poetic if he had a car accident while or after he brought her ashes to Toyama, the place where…
I will wait until it confirmed, because in that flashback his car indeed fell from the bridge, but I didn't see it done intentionally, so it could be an accident not suicide 😁
I feel like they should have made their first life relationship more complicated if they wanted him to suicide…
I think it will be poetic if he had a car accident while or after he brought her ashes to Toyama, the place where she was born and really love. K version implied that ML was part of "a gift" from FL's father. If wataru died while brought Misa to her home, it would be one of final act of kindness for her. It would made her father believe in Wataru, so that why he entrusted Misa to him
It was brilliant, I like how they explain Wataru had met Misa's dad, simple but it really explained about why misa's father "entrusted" his daughter to the ML (because in k-version her dad "gave" ML to FL). K-version never really explained why or how the father choose ML to help FL. That outing at campus scene totally made their connection felt deeper. The way they unfolding that Wataru was there but as unnamed background extras. He really want to became someone at Misa's life scenarios, so he immidiately gave her his card name and introduce himself at the elevator (surely he didn't want to messed up his second chance). So far I like every single changes that they've made, it made the story more coherent and flawless.
And also that flashback, when wataru's car fell from the bridge, I think it'll be poetic if he died while bring Misa's ash to Toyama, the place that she really loved.
PS: I also loved how wataru have to take a second look and dumbfounded when he saw misa's gyaru outfit and make up style
What's funny is it is a korean production itself filmed in a korean studio. So what's with the unnecessary comparison??…
Imho it doesn't about superiority complex. The series was based on same (similar) materials, of course people will compare it. And I didn't think when someone said they like that version compare to this version was necessary about hate. They just enjoy certain version better than other. 🙈 It happens all the time with an adaptation, no mather what genre, actor, or country produce it. We just have to deal with it
ML in k version didn't see how she died. He only came to her funeral.
Also, If I remembered correctly, FL in K drama version were so sure with her revenge plot. Like she knew she definitely will win. It felt like two completely different characters.
J drama version manage to made her change but still connected to her past, like she still unsure that she could escape her future and get annoyed when something didn't match her expectations. Somehow, it made her more relatable
finished ep 3. Guys that was so good ML saying all of that to the bitch in the car, then I was shocked. WTF with…
ML probably didn't push her because she only threatened him. He hold his composure to show some dignity. And didn't even realize at certain angle it'll look like they were kissing. 🤣 And the way his expression turn into panic when he read his sister messages and realised what it looks like 🙈
Maahahaha... I really love Misa's inner thoughts. The way she made assumptions about how weird Miku and Wataru relationship, and also why Wataru made move on her, and she concluded that they just wanted another person to join their relationship. Misa, please always gave us that wild assumption of yours!
The beginning of episode 7 was so awkward. This two with their silly little assumption about each other feeling 🤣.
Also Fukami and Fumiko, they relationship was written smoothly. I really enjoy this type of development, Fukami was a charmer, other drama probably will made he fall hard and chase his woman in odd way. But Fukami and Fumiko relationship development is perfect.
And also how Fukami was so done with Takimasa cluelessness.
Help! I really love this drama, and we only a couple episode left. I will really miss them when it over.

Fuka (The actor who played Misa) said "the second half of the story is unique to Japanese original story"
So let's hope they execute everything perfectly until the last episode

Gyaru often described as a rebellious style against Japanese "normal" beauty standard.
It's titled as "Fulltime wife escapist" on Netflix
The lead really got married after they were paired in this drama

By giving her his card, he stopped being "unnamed background extra"
I really love that detail.
