Ep 6. So Mitsuru had already done that suddenly disappeared thing 10 years ago for 3 months?
I think he knew Sakiko will wait.
And choose to disappear again for one year.
And probably it because he knew, Sakiko will have trauma bonding with someone (not particularly with Sonoda-san). So he can pull uno reverse card to Sakiko?
Or perhaps, Azusa said something about his husband. Probably trash talked him. She also probably trash talked about Itsuki to bookshop owner.
Or perhaps, Itsuki himself just as bad as Azusa describe to bookshop owner and Mitsuru?
I don't know what's going to happen later but Mitsuru is such a douchebag 😡 I hate that Sakiko is too nice…
Honestly, if deathly illness was his reason, to disappear, I'll probably turn to hate this drama. The story has such a good pace and vibe to be ruined by "I'm dying" 🙈
Itsuki seems to content with whatever Azusa reason and said he didn't want to hold a grudge, but I do hope he will punch Mitsuru right it the face once like he said to Sakiko at ep 3
It's been a long time since a got hook with jdrama. It's slow, the pain was lingering in right amount of quantity, the MC copping mechanism felt so real.
I like their inner convo between Sakiko and Mitsuru and also Itsuki and Azusa. The way Itsuki broke down to tears when a package from Azusa finally arrived at their home. The way Sakiko shed her rose tinted glasses little by little
Aoi Yu always did great with her eyes, like you can feel all her emotion through her eyes. I also felt the same way with Nakajima Ayumu (I think this is the first time I notice his talent even though I had watched Gannibal and Human Vapor) . His eyes were really expressive, some how I could feel he hold that anger and disgust at the first episode, but also sadness, and then pity but also guilt. I just really love how the actor could express their emotion through their eyes.
I still felt dan Azusa and Mitsuru was not a cheater.
I wish everyone got their closure by the end of the series
What if Seo Ri lost all her memories as Kang Da Shim after the comet passed on? May be the real Seo Ri didn't die, she just sleep. What if after the comet passed and disappeared from the sky the original Shin Seo Ri "wake up" and don't remember her encounter with Cha Se Gye?
But Cha Se Gye memories to his old life would still remains, even after the comet disappeared.
Considering how rich the ML is, it shouldn't be surprising that he found her address so fast. My guess is that…
Not a sender, but please let me join this discussion. I won't consider it (especially this part) as weak writing, because it easily to understand or interpret by connecting the dot And I didn't feel this part has to address outrightly. Besides having a story with every simple detail been addressed or feed to the viewer could be felt boring (and sometimes insulting)
I lost it when Seo Ri lost her composure inside the car because she thought an outbreak was happening, and the first response from Cha Se Gye was asking if she was feeling unwell because of motion sickness. But then Cha Se-Gye so done with her because she scream too close to his ear.
I think she mentioned a scene from 1st ep, where the FL realised she was totally on different era/world. A white woman approached her, she shocked with the smart phone, and then saw a dark skinned dude wearing hanbook. She flew away from the set after saw that guy
I am also terrible with name 🙈. But I remember that I really adore her character in Ohna Joshuu Naotora, so I checked that page first to find her name 🤣
That's cute. With the revelation in ep 7 where it show that Sosuke was the one who saved Hana. I wonder, did Hana subconsciously knew and recognised her saviour? That's why she immediately could make eye contact with Sosuke when they meet again. While Sosuke, he subconsciously remember that his touch ever safe a life. That's probably the first time he didn't feel guilty to touch someone for a long time, because he safe her. It's save to touch her and he knew it.
I liked the korea version a lot (the last few episodes did get a little boring) so im hesitating to watch this…
1. Takeru portrayal felt more subtle and gentler. ML in Japanese version never really joined FL or helped directly in her revenge plot. However he always made sure that FL was safe and sound. He seems just really grateful because he could saw her alive. So you'll probably also like Takeru portrayal. 2. For me, FL in J version felt more grounded and relatable. FL sure have knowledge of the future, while PMY seem really confident with all of her plan and rarely crack her mask, FL in j version still had that uncertainty about her plan. She pissed of when she thought someone would ruined her plan. She also questioned herself was she a bad person because she done it? But she couldn't contain herself when her plan succeeded. Her change felt more gradually and definitely not instant She definitely didn't feel weepy or despondent.
If you like a romance with more skin ship, you'll probably prefer the korean version. But, if you like type of romance where small gesture and less desire to keep but always want to protect, you'll probably enjoy romance in japanase version better. ML in k-version made sure the FL got her revenge While j-version, he just want to make sure FL happy and safe
Wataru surely became a beast when he beat the manager. And he done it after sliding elegantly through the window. Felt a bit out of character because he said he stopped at white belt level on ep 8. But I will let it pass, he just wants to save Misa. 🤣
And he looks terrifying when he tried to choke Reina. I wish Takeru Sato could take villain role because he actually good at it.
And it took 9 years for them to propose? The turtle really fit their relationship build up. And kamekichi will life long enough to still watch their relationship grow futher.
Also It so cute to see Wataru interaction with Sumeyoshi's daughter at the background.
So far the Japanese version has stuck pretty close to the webtoon, things have been tightened up/shortened since…
Someone mentioned in older comment, they probably change a cat to turtle because in japanese culture turtle represent longevity, wisdom, good fortune, and protection. While cat also associated with good luck and protection, slow nature of turtle probably closer to ML and FL relationship build up in J-version.
Did Misa tell Director Suzuki she's from the future and was trying to change the past? Episode 5 & 6 she seems…
No, misa didn't tell him yet on ep 5/6. But I guess if you got that feeling about Misa talked openly about she wanted to change future, it's probably because Misa let her guard down around Suzuki. She already trust him even when she didn't admit it yet.

I just really want to hug Sakiko!
Itsuki seems to content with whatever Azusa reason and said he didn't want to hold a grudge, but I do hope he will punch Mitsuru right it the face once like he said to Sakiko at ep 3

Perfect logic from our ML

🤣
The way Han Hyo Joo said Ya!! (No!!)🤣

It's save to touch her and he knew it.
It's indeed a miracle
So you'll probably also like Takeru portrayal.
