Gay roles can be solo protagonist roles too.......... But I understand where you are coming from. He is only a beginner and will take more diverse roles soon enough.
Well actually New and Tay didn't switch up anything, they just reunited again lol but I get what you mean. Both…
Yes, the fact that it is short but still really good impressed me so much! Not even being biased here lol It just started filming, I think. Will probably take atleast a few months. Friendzone as far as I know is slated for an August release. Krist's Mint to Be for a July end release,
Krist and Singto are the best known BL couples on GMMTV ^^
Me too! And his personal assistant, P'Jane isn't GMMTV staff either but his projects and activities are under GMMTV? Maybe he does have a special contract. Maybe it's because he wants to concentrate on school and can't devote all his time to GMMTV. Thai fans probably know more about this. Yeah, I agree!
I gave this show a 1 to bring down the horribly wrong rating of this show. If not, I would have given this show…
I watched the show way after it ended and I was looking for something to watch after 2 moons and Sotus. People were going on and on about it being this amazing thing like you said lol. The plot is below average. I liked the side characters. Knock is an asshole, it's a fact. My problem with Korn's character is that I don't know what his personality is. They only show Korn as a person in love. I 100% AGREE that people only like this show because it has actions. Lol horny much?
The fact that people criticise that Sotus doesn't have any action pisses me off sooooo much! First of all, a disclaimer- I love sotus so much and I really believe that people should look at it like they look at a hetero drama and not as an exclusive Bl drama. Sotus is amazing, the way the plot unfolds and how P'Arthit develops as a character, it really is magical! What I love the most about it that the characters in Sotus are human- they have their flaws and the characters actually talk about it. I absolutely adore Arthit and Krist's relationship because of how they respect, understand and are simply there for each other. Both of them have their insecurities and flaws but they are compatible and love each other deeply so they make it work. I honestly believe, a rated scene or a scene like one in Together With Me simply does not suit Sotus and it doesn't fit in with the aesthetic the author is going for.
My experience with Sotus is funny. I was a stupid child so after watching Crazy Little Thing Called Love I decided that it was hard for me to understand Thai. I avoided Sotus for 2 whole years because of this even though I am super into BL. I finally watched it this year and I am so in love with the series and its actors too!
The crying scenes were funny, they were bad. yeah, The script is to be blamed too. I don't really understand what people like about this show, i really don't.
The only reason this show has the same rating as Sotus is because more people rated Sotus than this one.
Bad Romance is totally trashy and bad lololol. I can't explain how much I forwarded the show. First time I skipped a BL couple's parts. The ending is just........ Good thing you gave up, if I could go back in time and stop myself from watching both these annoying shows I would.
I need to learn Thai so I don't have to wait for English Subs lmao! I watched the first ep in Thai and I only…
Hhaha yes.
Yeah, they don't. International media doesn't get a lot of things right with India lol. That happens but I don't think that is something exclusive to India. Women everywhere are blamed directly or indirectly for rape. They blame it on clothes, her sexual life, her drinking, and what not. No, the muslim influence has nothing to do with it. Indian society, irrespective of religion, is prettyyy damn sexist.
Yup!
It definitely is! Yeah, that is true. Plus their BL dramas have done fairly good so it is just profitable to make more of them. I hope so too! Awww have fun! That sounds so sweet, tbh. I need to find someone to watch it with too hahahaha. Lure him in with snacks XDDD
Well actually New and Tay didn't switch up anything, they just reunited again lol but I get what you mean. Both…
Yeah, Singto also said that his character is pretty different from Kongpob so I am looking forward to it. Did you see My Baby Bright? I really enjoyed that.
Krist and Singto are the best known BL couples on GMMTV ^^
I know that but Krist and Singto are still the best known couple on GMMTV. Yeah, Singto isn't officially signed up yet. Off Gun have their Off Gun nights but I think a reason why Krist and Singto don't have shows like this is because GMMTV wants them to concentrate more on acting. Even though Off Gun nights is like a monthly thing. Not brushing off Off Gun and New Tay's popularity but Krist Singto are the best known Bl couples and their followers on SNS plus their awards are proof.
I do not agree with giving this show a one cause overall I enjoy some things but boy, oh boy if I agree with EVERYTHING…
I gave this show a 1 to bring down the horribly wrong rating of this show. If not, I would have given this show a 1.5 or a 2 lmaooo.
When I say, I hate this show I mean it. This show frustrated the hell out of me for 2 reasons. 1. This show is SUPER hyped. I read great reviews everywhere. I don't know on what basis did people like this show? If I wanted to watch two guys make out, I would rather watch porn than this shit. 2. Yihwa made me watch her parts. This annoyed me because her parts included Knock and Korn lol.
Sotus is a masterpiece in the BL world and really, the drama world. It's just a fact. People disappoint me with their shit choice everyday. Thankfully, Sotus is still the most appreciated BL drama in Thai and internationally as well.
I didn't even like the actor's acting. I do not understand how someone who likes Korn would want him together with that shit hole Knock?? Knock is really such a slut, I haven't seen Knock and Korn actually have a real conversation and I can bet my life on it that this relationship will not be a happy one. I also watched Bad Romance because of queen Yihwa and Knock Korn's relationship dynamics are SO bad. That is not how 2 adults behave in a relationship- refusing to talk to each other about their problems, not acknowledging the problems and understanding each other even after reconciliation, and worst of all, bringing a third person into their relationship. Yihwa was sorta annoying with always meddling in their relationship. A mom friend is a different thing but that was just weird ass. Korn remains at fault too.
Don't be sorry, I am always open to talking about how shitty this show was since I am still frustrated that I spent my time watching this and most of all, how overhyped this shit is.
Well actually New and Tay didn't switch up anything, they just reunited again lol but I get what you mean. Both…
I understood what you are trying to say. I wonder what his role in the movie will be like? In Friendzone, he plays an office worker. I have high hopes for Friendzone lol
Well actually New and Tay didn't switch up anything, they just reunited again lol but I get what you mean. Both…
What are you even saying?????? Not every gay guy is the same. His character in Uprince is completely different from Kongpob! Wow I am taken aback by your statement really.
I need to learn Thai so I don't have to wait for English Subs lmao! I watched the first ep in Thai and I only…
I am going to use the spoiler button to avoid spamming lol. India indeed has double standards. But in this case, it isn't true. I don't know where you got your info from but sadly, the third gender aren't treated well here. They have rights on paper and are recognized as the other/third gender but the social prejudice against them is incredibly strong. They don't live a good life financially or socially. It's disheartening to see. The youth is indeed working on these social constructs so hopefully, we'll see a change in the coming days. I agree that homophobia comes from sexism and the idea of gender roles. India is baddddddd when it comes to sexism, if you didn't know already lol.
Hahaha I am all for uniforms in high school but I would like to wear casual clothes in college. Glad I did.
Yes, they wait to see the response and then sub it! I haven't subscribed yet though.
I hope I do so too! Still haven't got the time to watch it as of now.
I think it's not personal boundary issues as much as boundary issues in public, really.Arthit wasn't angry about…
Like I said before, Arthit did not have a problem with Kongpob being at the job but rather the fact that he wasn't informed about it before. Relationships do change a lot in people but Arthit isn't one to voice out his feelings. I, for one, relate to it. It's just how some people are, everyone is different.
You can see how Arthit legit doesn't say shit out but instead, he lets his actions speak for him. Like when he held Kongpob's hands in the lift in front of Durian because he felt Kongpob needed encouragement and the string he tied after he was late to the string tying ceremony. Even in the end, he wouldn't have the courage to propose(in my opinion) if it wasn't for the gear plan he had.
I do get the part that their communication wasn't all that good. It definitely needed some work. But they do sort of work that out in the end? With Arthit talking to Kongpob about his foreign study plans and shit.
Arthit does need to work on his communication skills and hopefully, he will. I just adore those times when he gathers all his courage and says I love you hahaha. I understand that he might not be someone's favourite character since he might be frustrable at times. People say the same about Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi's Ritsu lol
Hope being a gay male in China is faring well for you. Being a bi female in India is meh. Also, I hope I don't seem passive aggressive it's just that I love discussing my favourite characters. Especially when they have complex personalities!
I think it's not personal boundary issues as much as boundary issues in public, really.Arthit wasn't angry about…
That was the main plot of this season. That was why the problems in the relationship began to arise. Kongpob can only handle so much. Arthit took a huge step forward when he came out in front of his colleagues. It took him a long time but he did. If you notice, Arthit is more free with Kongpob when they were on campus or among their friends. This is probably because it was Arthit's homeground and he has basic trust in them. You got to realise how homosexuality works in Asia to analyse Arthit's character. In Thailand, even though homosexuality is not something people are hush hush about, that doesn't equate to acceptance. And in the end, we must remember Arthit is just a human at the end of it all. He has his weaknesses but the way he dealt with them in the end is commendable. For me, this part of Sotus is what I liked. It was realistic. I have really never felt more proud of a character's development before!
But I understand where you are coming from. He is only a beginner and will take more diverse roles soon enough.
