What did the screenwriter smoke?

Talented actors, but the storyline (FL gifted in martial arts who enters a men-only academy and meets the ML, leader of the academy, nobleman who can't get married) is so absurd, that it's unbearable....

We have incoherent appearances of various gods (of marriage, of destiny, etc.) and we wonder in each episode "what the f**k?"

Sorry for the 2 leads, that I like, but it's unbearable!

Very very catchy Fantasy series with intense interactions within the CL.

PLOT: A demon saves FL, adopted daughter of a large company, from an assassination attempt, but the tattoo to activate his powers is transferred to FL's wrist. They must therefore team up to protect the FL (from the toxic and dangerous family +++) and find a way to restore the ML's tattoo. The CL therefore makes a marriage (contract). They will discover how their fates have been intertwined for a long time.

PROS:
+ Fantastic CL with Song Kang as ML & Kim Yoo Jung as FL.
+ A magnificent cinematography (the producer has a "Goblin" style).
+ Dynamic production, excellent special effects.
+ The story is relatively coherent, for a fantasy series, with “wisdom” or “philosophy” passages.
+ The OSTs are beautiful.

CONS:
- the product placements are too obvious, like in all recent Kdramas!
- The Great Villain, intelligent, perverted, sadistic,... is excessive. He could be a demon, surviving his fall from a building... Seriously?

Très très accrocheur, avec intenses interactions au sein du CL.

PLOT: Un démon sauve la FL, fille adoptive d'1 gros groupe, d'1 tentative d'assassinat, mais le tatouage pour activer ses pouvoirs est transféré au poignet de la FL. Ils doivent donc s'allier pour protéger la FL (famille toxique et dangereuse +++) et trouver le moyen de restituer le tatouage. Le CL fait donc un mariage (contrat). Ils vont découvrir comment leurs destins sont entremêlés depuis longtemps.

PROS:
+ Fantastic CL with Song Kang as ML & Kim Yoo Jung as FL.
+ A magnificiant cynematography (the producer has a "Goblin" style).
+ Réalis° dynamique, effets spéciaux excellents.
+ La story est relativement cohérente, pour une série fantastique, avec des passages "sagesse" ou "philosophie".
+ Les OST sont belles.

CONS:
- les placements de produits sont trop évidents, comme dans tous les Kdramas récents !
- Le Great Villain smart,pervert, sadique,... est excessif. Il pourrait être un démon, survivant à sa chute d'un building... Sérieux ?

PLOT: All the friends unite to get Lu Feifei out of prison and fight against the evil forces of the Hunter Clan. The situation seems to be improving, the kingdom is preparing 2 royal weddings, but the evils have not given up...

+ Great great actors (all of them)
+ 3 cute love stories, well-developed
+ dynamic production, without length
+ great action scenes, gorgeous costumes, beautiful cinematography
+ the OSTs of X-Nine, Zhao Lusi and Xiao Zhan, a pleasure.
+ a very satisfying happy ending

CONS:
- Some points remain unresolved at the end: how did Dragon Egg travel through time?

A really feel good series ( ｡◕‿◕｡ )

Excellent series, with a great CL (great OTPs between Park Hyung Sik & Park Bo Young), and funny to watch.

Girl with 1 super strength who will protect 1 CEO (bodyguard). Love triangle and menacing serial killer.

+ Excellent casting.
+ Good production without lenght.
+ Good OSTs (including one from Park Hyung Sik).
+ Super cute ending!

=> To watch and rewatch without moderation!!

Intrigant plot but the tone becomes quickly unbearable

The plot might seem interesting: an arranged marriage between the future emperor and the (chubby and not very attractive) daughter of the Highest Councillor.

But the tone of the drama, whimsical, even comic, with many overplayed characters, repetitive coincidences, becomes painful, more than funny! The OSTs are in the same tone (shifted to accentuate the Comedy aspect). The apotheosis is the end in Bollywood's style...

Moreover, this romance between the emperor and his wife does not show real chemistry. There are no cute or intimate scenes! In short, I couldn't believe this couple.

I watched it untill the end of curiosity, but even if I like ML, I will certainly not rewatch this drama.

Le plot pouvait sembler intéressant : un mariage arrangé entre le futur empereur et la fille (dodue et pas très séduisante) du plus Grand Conseiller.

Mais le ton du drama, fantaisiste, voire comique, avec beaucoup de personnages surjoués, des coïncidences répétitives, devient vitre pénible, plus que drôle ! Les OST sont dans le même ton (décalées pour accentuer l'aspect Comédie). L'apothéose, c'est la fin Bollywood ...

De plus, cette romance entre l'empereur et sa femme ne montre pas de réelle alchimie. Il n'y a aucune scène cute ou intime ! Bref, je n'ai pas réussi à croire à ce couple.

Je suis allée au bout par curiosité, mais même si j'aime bien le ML, je ne visionnerai pas ce drama à nouveau.

A very romantic series with 3 great actors as leads.

What beautiful people in this cast!!!

The plot is intriguing: A FL who is paid to play the temporary wives, is led to have 2 contracts with the tenants of 1 same building, 1 shy judge and 1 star ML2.

The pacing is brisk, the tone quite cute, and all the actors are excellent.
Nothing special about the soundtracks that go well with the different emotions.

I will definitely watch this drama again in a while, at least the very cute scenes between the two leads :)

Que de beau monde dans ce casting !!!
Une série très romantique avec 3 acteurs géniaux comme leads.

Le plot est intrigant : Une FL qui est payée pour jouer les épouses temporaires, est conduite à avoir 2 contrats avec les locataires d'1 même immeuble, 1 juge timide et 1 ML2 star.

Le rythme est vif, le ton plutôt mignon et tous les acteurs sont excellents.
Rien de particulier concernant les OST qui accompagnent bien les différentes émotions.

Je regarderai certainement ce drama à nouveau dans quelques temps, au moins les scènes très cute entre les deux leads :)

A good plot wasted by a horribly bad writing

I liked the plot and the CL (Zuo Ye & Li Jia Qi) but the writing is UNBEARABLE.

PLOT: A Demon Fox has suffered a curse for 1000 years consisting of seeing his beloved die in all her reincarnations. In this life, he is the feared Emperor Fox, and she is a fake demon hunter. A devious official sends the FL to the Fox's service.

+ Good actors,
BUT the producer asked them to seriously overplay! As a result, the FL comes across as totally stupid ლಠ益ಠ)ლ The Fox is dangerously handsome, and we already know that the official is a twisted Great Villain...

+ Beautiful images and frames
BUT the cuts are abrupt, the events occur without any transition,...

=> I don't like this style of narration at all!

J'aimais bien le plot et le CL (Zuo Ye & Li Jia Qi) mais l'écriture est INSUPPORTABLE.

PLOT: Un Démon Renard subit depuis 1000 ans une malédiction consistant à voir mourir sa bien-aimée dans toutes ses réincarnations. Dans cette vie, il est l'Empereur Renard, redouté, et elle est une fake chasseuse de démons. Un fonctionnaire retors envoie la FL au service du Renard.

+ Bons acteurs,
MAIS on leur a demandé de surjouer grave ! Du coup, la FL passe pour totalement idiote ლಠ益ಠ)ლ Le Renard est dangereusement beau, et on sait déjà que le fonctionnaire est un Great Villain tordu ...

+ De belles images et cadrages
MAIS les coupures sont brusques, les évènements amenés sans aucune transition,...

=> Je n'aime pas du tout ce style de narration !
