Omg no words. The Wan spawns of Satan are the most despicable, vile, soulless sorry excuses for human beings.…
It’s so overkill imo. I get that xiuyu needs some screen time but this oart of the story is ridiculous to me. Like one bad kid is enough poor mr wan both his kids are bad. Also chuanmei comes from a well off family like its hard for me to believe that anyone from her background would steal someone else identity just for college (also rich kids can get into college they want just use her fathers connection by donating to the college or something like study abroad like most rich chinese kids or retake exam LOL) like their ego wouldnt want to be called by someone else name and live off as them for the rest of her life. Especially if she meets a husband and has to be introduce to the family and all her friends know her by another name Lol the plot armor so thick on the wan kids. Idk what the story is trying to prove, that there are different appeals to justice or they want to showcase some unfairness with cultural values?
They don’t need to live with him. They have their own home. Also a lot of marriage fails because of in-laws.…
I think because he is starting out but once he is stable in career and makes more im sure he will payback money.
The house thing, it depends. My dad side is chinese and they bought all their kids houses and none of them live there but most asians culture everyone is welcome to live in parents house until kids get married. That’s nice thing about asian family is no pressure to kick out kids like in western culture
Can anyone please clear one thing for me, their youngest son I suppose has a good job in city, he can't afford…
They don’t need to live with him. They have their own home. Also a lot of marriage fails because of in-laws. Especially city girl would not like to get boss around by mother in law living in the house. Xingfu married the eldest who is basically taking over father footsteps so they are responsible for taking over the parents household and taking care of them while the younger ones have different life. It’s always like that in asian family.
House price in China is ridiculously expensive, especially in the city. there's a saying that buying a house would…
You need to have a open mind and not too judgmental. That’s how it works and it’s not so much as him ahowing off but more like getting approval to get married because the mother is against their marriage because prents are involved in marriage and care about how much the guy makes or what they do for a living. A lot of marriages fail because of money problem.
To me the recent episodes show how women are smashed by patriarchy. Xing Fu didn't have formal education, grown…
That’s how it is even in todays society. People marry those with similar status especially the rich or a Cinderella story like xingfu she married to ql who’s village and family was more rich then hers. The reason she married him was simple too. We can see how boys are more important because they carry the family line. Its very important. Only boys can carry last name after marriage. I think they do love each other. Everyone has different love language.
yeah, last few ep they suddenly make Wan good guy and it's like her family never have issue with that old man…
I felt that he was ok after he learned his lessons. Not many old generation will admit they are at fault. Unlike his son who has no remorse for what he did.
Ep 30 had my BP up again. The good-for-nothing Chuangjia and Chuangmei are the dregs of Wan Village Society. Old…
Its kinda overkill that they made mr wan habe two bad kids i was hoping the eldest daughter would be better as she moved to city 😂 but i forgot there are more assholes in city
She’s not meant to be stuck there as a receptionist forever. She has greater things to do lol
I lnow im sad she had to leave too. Its rare to have a good boss and a family environment. But she has to grow and go back before she misses anymore of her child’s childhood years It brought me tears too because I remember when iw as a kid and my bro and i was left with my grandparents while our parents worked abroad. So i can see why xingfu made a decision to go back for their family even thiugh there was so much more she could learn and do at the law firm.
I get that Qinglang is being stubborn and has some growing to do but it doesnt mean that they should divorce so…
Actually they make up quick when they fight. The only time they had a silent war that lasted long was when she went back home… You’re asking me if I was her would I stay? Yes because its not like he is a terrible husband all together. Also its only when arguments happen constantly and never ends and no one wants to give in is when it becomes toxic. Part of happy marriage is understanding and compromise. Also they need to think of their kid as well… so far thats what xingfu is doing is being understanding.
Also not everyone is a city personz i would never want to live in the city and don’t like the city vibe much. So i can understand QL feelings when he hates the city and doesn’t like his job. Its understandable.
Yeah thats why I’m trying to keep an open mind. I grew up in suburbs but i tell you when i go back home where some of my relatives came from the rural areas before making it, i hated their personalities compared to my mother side who were more quiet and sophisticated. Then I realize there are good things they have that people in city/suburban life may lack. Also that’s how they grew up.
The only thing i hated was the wedding hazing and how they bullied xingfu/wang family. But we are seeing the changes as people become more modernized and educated but at same time not forget tradition.
