because Zhang Ping is an orphan and get himself in a lot of dangerous situations because of his curiosity,, if he became Lan Jue's brother he will have a family that protects and support him
that's my imagination

I don't like romance historical either and I love bromance or brotherhood dramas but lately I noticed they put Brotherhood or friendship in the middle of romantic dramas similar to the song of the moon drama it has one of the best brotherhood relationship this year also blood of youth had amazing friendship
