She’s being a bad judge on purpose, she says it herself. Maybe you’re the one unable to understand nuance. Doesn’t matter what her name is, she’s a horrible judge and a “bad” person. That’s the character. It’s ok if you don’t like it. But that’s the premise of the show and mentioned in the synopsis. She’s not a real judge but becomes one in the end.

Yes, cause she doesn’t want to be a real judge. She came to earth to kill people. That’s her mission. She’s just using the judge’s profession to get closer to the criminals.

Perhaps someone sexier, with a darker energy? Wouldn’t serve the script though.
