This drama reminds me the most of Jane Austen's BBC adaptations. Okay there's no action or great themes being discussed. But a woman's life is difficult even nowadays so the story makes sense and shows how hard it was for a single mother with FIVE daughters and no son.

Chinese manga scene is not as well developed as Korean. You can find Chinese novels in the same genre.
