I like the way the plot is progressing. There's romance but it doesn't forget DX is a general in the midst of war with court politics and rivals interfering.

This is a nice change after being frustrated by another drama.

It's not the actress' fault. After all, she acts according to the script. At any rate, if you want a good female general/warrior in a drama then I recommend Fated Hearts.

I read Pursuit of Jade's novel and it's certainly better than the drama adaptation.

LLTG was much better in terms of plot and pacing. Pursuit of Jade became a simple romance, idol drama by the end.
