Some of the prettiest costumes I've seen in any C-drama. Like you said, the costume designer did a beautiful job.
Oh definitely. The fabrics woven in each country are more suited to its climate. Silk and cotton in Thailand have different grades and weights so it really is better to wear than say denim or polyester.
I've been often to the Middle East/West Asia and there's a very good reason their clothing is all loose and flowy!
The costume designer did a good job, even for the male characters. The clothes and accessories were appropriate and not over the top. Lovely use of colours too
Ep.33: I can understand CXQ's point of view in this episode and his difficulties up to now. His resentment is justified due to his circumstances, but he made his choice so he has no recourse but to handle the consequences. Good acting by ZY here.

Although ZZ will always be Kenny Ho to me, YY is doing a good job so far. It's been a long time since someone filmed a proper old-school wuxia drama.
