Watching ep 38 and Lin an being distress about the whole situation reminding me why she is perfect match for XQ. People like Grand princess & Lord Wei might be more cunning and patient with their tactics but both XQA & Lin An speak with their hearts and don't care about consequences.
Are they naive and not wise? yes however their intentions are pure and wanting good for the people

Lin an was the one who was spreading those exaggerated rumors about him defeating thousands or millions 🤣

Just finished ep 36 and wow I am speechless. It felt like I am watching a movie. From start to finish, it was perfect. Epic visuals? ✅ brilliant fighting sequences ✅Wang hedi was looking soooo gorgeous in every frame, I am in love 😭Love XQA & Shen shu team up and how he told XQA to take action & fight instead of talking to Duke 🤣I also adore the way XQA guardian buddies told him their story of getting lost. it was so hilarious 😂This is up there as one of my favorite ep due to how much packed & intense it was. And I still have 4 episodes left?? Nah this show deserves so much more love

Time to watch final few episodes...
I usually lose interest with cdramas at the end but I am so hyped & also sad to watch these episodes

I'll watch all the episodes later tonight but I hope ending is good and we feel satisfied even if s2 doesn't come

I know the story isn't ending on S1 but I hope whenever this show properly ends, Yang ling stays on dafeng and don't go back to his world

Tbh from the teasers we got for last episodes, you don't have to worry about sad ending for main couple or him going back because it looks like story isn't complete and we might get more seasons (not confirmed yet but I am hoping)

Romance is more of side plot and they don't have much screentime but they got their happy ending. Last few episodes are not focsed on them but it's about solving a case

They be telling me that s2 won't come because not enough profit so I just stopped arguing with these people. it's a waste of time

There is certain section of people who have started creating a doubt that while it did well but it isn't a blockbuster or tencent facing loss etc because it was supposed to be next JOL but it didn't reach that level

This ep was fast paced. So many things happened and it's still not enough because I want to watch more 😭
XQA being overwhelmed with emotions at the end got me. Wang hedi is so good with microexpressions

I like Duchess's dynamic with XQA. She won me over in an ep
