Dropped after the 3th episode. FL is quite frankly a bitch. She overheard something and made assumptions based on that, not to mention the absolute stalkerish behavior she showed towards the ML. I don’t care about her dating history, but saying to a girl in a nutshell, just cheat, because men do it too, is in my opinion not cool.
If people want a good coming of age series, watch Smells Like Green Spirit. It’s a Japanese series, 8 episodes, 30 minutes per episode. Don’t watch Heesu in Class, it’s a straight washed series, with barely any BL elements! Honestly it’s a joke to call this a BL!
Smells like Greem Spirit dares (like a lot of other Japanese series) to be as realistic as possible, it hits taboo subjects. The series is set in the 90s. Give it a try, it will give you more satisfaction, then this ridiculous series!
As much as I loved the series, I think China should stop making BL altogether until the ban is lifted. The whole…
If nobody is challenging that ridiculous censorship, nothing is ever going to be changed! Stop making BL series will result in the censorship being nicely in place where it is! Oppression doesnt get lifted by staying oppressed, it’s gets lifted by rebellion, by not standing down!
I honestly didn’t mind how it ended. I really liked it, CC and Wei together cuddling on the bed, warm, full of love, safe and happy, with a beautiful future in front of them!
This series didnt need nc scenes to feel the love, it was all there. The chemistry between Tian and Zi Yu made up for a lot of it, as did the BTS scenes. Would I have liked to see them kiss, sure. But half way through the series it became clear that, that wouldn’t happen, probably to protect the actors. So I adjusted my expectations for this series.
I rather have a series that is finished, where the actors still have careers to go back to. Then have an unfinished series full of nc scenes and actors who are being cancelled because of the censorship. Yes the series could be aired internationally and with that it didn’t fall under the censorship, but those actors are still Chinese.
I liked it, it wasnt super good, but a fun series to watch on a rainy day. Only things I didn’t like with the storyline was that Ha-Ri never stands up for herself! Not when those awful friends mocked her for having a boyfriend. And not when that insecure girl posted that BS about her two timing the director and best friend. I wished she would’ve just told those people off, the fact that that girl didn’t even have the nerve to apologize after all that slender, was disgusting.
And the part where the parents of Ha-Ri and the grandfather never meet each other, I think that would’ve been hilarious, the older people enjoying the soap series together.
After having seen how Pond acted in Reset and 180 Degrees Longitude. I’m just going to say it, this series wasted his amazing acting talents, they didn’t even try to utilize it. It’s sad to see!
I feel the same. That scene felt disjointed. I have a feeling they cut the scene to appease those that voiced…
There is still another side, that side is just enjoying the series for what it is, sees the bts more as an add-on, because it gives a nice view on how this series was made. And is just thankful for having a great Chinese BL!
for yall saying its not dark and serious, its legit a trailer, its not the full series, also this is Boun's project…
I think that was before Boun went to Gmmtv, thats the whole reason the series took so long to make, because after Boun (and Prem) joined Gmmtv, the original script was changed, rewritten etc.
Can we give a big applause to how well this break up was build up! It was coming for weeks, multiple episodes, starting with very realistic misunderstandings and insecurities, followed by no communication. I’m just so impressed by how good this storyline is, finally we have a series where a break up is actually understandble, even with how heartbreaking it is. Compared to so many other series (I won’t name names) where we have a unnecessary break up in the second to last episode. This series is just so well done, these sort of series are raising our standards, hope we get more BL series from this director and screenwriter!
Wang Shuo must be mad. How can you disappear for 7 years and expect him to still be in love with you.? 🙄 Better…
Doesnt that count for all these ex’s we have seen in BL series? They show up after so many years, expecting to somehow still have a place in the other persons heart, but then act all mad, angry, sad and surprised, if it turns out that the other person moved on long ago. And let’s be real, if most of those ex’s really cared, they wouldn’t have waited years to show up. WS is a delusional.
There are always differences between pilot and trailer. The pilot is for everyone to see how the series could…
Agreed! I've started saying to my BL friends, that I need to stop watching these pilot trailers, because they are never the same as the actual series. So many times I get all hyped for these series, then most series turn out nothing like the pilot. ThamePo, Doctors Mine, now this one is the latest of just being different. Some of us are just a bit disappointed.
My golden blood is the best thing that fuckass company has done - if we ignore the cgi. If Revamp ends up being…
Please don’t lecture me! Especially seeing as what I did was share my opinion. I didn’t like MGB, thats my opinion, others did. I can say I disagree on things, so please just stop!
