Its not that I do not want to watch other Omegaverse series that come after. The way Knot was marketed left me with a bad taste in my mouth, the whole first real Omegaverse and later first Thai Omegaverse.

I can’t help but feel like they tried to hitch a ride on the popularity for Omegaverse that came after Abo Desire came out. I feel like they made this series too fast, as in they didn’t really think about the storyline and the execution of said storyline. I don’t want to compare it to Abo Desire but they took much more time to create a decent series and maybe thats because the NJ sisters were present at every step of the way, not to mention they wrote the novel. They did a great job showing the relationship between the beings, next to the overal plot that the series has. Even if it’s maybe not as detailed as Knot is showing, you got the picture and knew what was happening. Especially for those who have read Omegaverse before

The Knot series feels very lackluster from the scenes I saw on Social Media. It feels like the producers and directors are banking on the NC scenes to make it good, and while I do think Boat and Oat are very good in showing those scenes, sometimes a series needs more then that alone. From the reactions I see on social media and here on MDL, it seems like you need to read the novel to understand why characters decide a certain way, if that is indeed the case, for me that would mean the series and the directors has/have failed to deliver what it should be.

They probably will, with how good the current Chinese bl’a are, they are less restricted in what they can and can’t do.

China is making a remake of the first ever Omegaverse by them out of 2023 (even though a lot of people don’t know it exist) Title Couple or Not. The Remake has the same title.

Just started episode 7, really starting to hate that girl who is supposed to be god! Like you made him how he is, and now you want to,guilt trip him into the things you made him do!

Almost finished episode 4, already hating the cousin/emperor. I hate people who use these underhanded scheming tactics to get their way. Somebody tell me he gets punished or something at the end of the series. Just a yes or no answer is enough.

This was an absolute gorgeous movie to watch, every second was a pleasure to watch. The sexual tension between both male leads was palpable, you could feel the passion when they danced together. You could feel the joy and love while they were dancing.

It was beautiful to watch a rigid ballroom dancer learn to relax a bit more to learn the passion and tension that Latin dancing hold. In the same way it was beautiful to see a flowy, passionate, relaxed Latin dancer learn how to bend and move his body for the stiffer ballroom dancing. You could see during the end dance, they both have their specialties and both still struggled a bit with the newer learned dances.

I cannot imagine how many hours these two actors learned those dances. They both deserve the highest praise. I wish there was more, this movie ended way to quickly.

I will be rewatching this series often, it’s a breathtaking story, a masterpiece which should have a much higher rating!

The emperor made that decision because Chu Zhao was whispering in the emperor’s ear and sowing doubt about both being generals and that they shouldn’t work together! Even though they both showed for months that they could separate work and private life, showed months that they had each others backs. If Chu Zhao hadn’t deliberately made the emperor separate them during those fights, a lot of soldiers didnt have to die! He Yan had every right to be pissed of at him and it was entirely his fault, at that point he was promoted as minister and could make advices to the emperor about the wars that were breaking out. He separated them and made them weaker!

How the heck is this series rated a 8.1? It’s terrible and I say this as somebody who has been a avid fan of Omegaverse. Abo Desire was so much better and it only has a 7.8 which is a crime in itself, yet somehow this show is supposed to be better? Ridiculous!

This! But honestly it happens with a lot of Thai BL series, maybe it’s more the fans of the couple rating it higher, then actually rating the series.

Just wondering if I’m the only one who won’t be watching the Thai Omegaverse series Knot. I think the NJ sister and the D4 actors did an amazing job portraying Omegaverse the way they did and with what they could show.

Honestly this series deserves more then a 7.8!

Because for Jaemin it was all just a game, he liked the push and pull from Da On, he liked that he could manipulate Da On. He’s like a hunter chasing his prey, what fun would it be if the prey just came walking towards him instead of running away. And the fact that Jaemin was never entirely convinced that Da On loved him wholeheartedly. According to Jaemin, Da On fals in love to easily. The reason why Jaemin flipped was because he realized that Da On started to completely pull away from him, he was losing control of Da On after Ju Seong Hyeon showed up. A person who could love Da On easily, unconditionally and without stress.

Because they both wanted Da On, but also wanted the other one to stay away from Da On. So instead of just opening up about their emotions like adults, they decided to go that route.

I remember how you wrote entire character explanations on the MDL page of Secret Relationship, it was fun and interesting to read. Sometimes series don’t need adaptations or remakes, they are great all on their own.

This! The only reason they were “together” was because they wanted the other one to stay away from Da On. I was already disappointed with the poster but the trailer just made it ten times worse.

I’ve stopped expecting or hoping for messy, toxic, dark, mysterious and emotional intense series from Thailand. Revamp confirmed it for me once again, but China has apparently risen to that challenge and I’m very satisfied with the Chinese BL series. So done with these always fluff and immature series from Thailand.

This is what I said on social media, in the original poster you could already feel the tension between the characters and that there was a storyline to tell. Jeamin’s hand possessive on Da On’s shoulder. Ju Seong Hyeon smiling, having his face towards to sun, which is fitting for his character. And Kim Su Hyeon looking angry in his eyes. The poster alone made you excited to watch it. I’ve been apprehensive about this remake ever since I heard it, they should leave this one alone. It was already such a banger, it doesn’t need a remake or adaptation.

I’ve gotten to the point that I have very little trust or faith in that they will give the novel justice. With the Korean one I was on the edge of my seat, discussing days after days on MDL what the characters would do or what made them like that. I couldnt wait until the next episode. 8 episodes each 20 minutes yet it was my all time favorite BL series of 2025, they told the story with tension, thrill and excitement in a bit more then 2.5 hours.

This new poster is giving RomCom vibes, it’s giving Fourever You and Perfect 10 Liners. None of the vibes of the Korean version.

Those curse words are honestly hilarious, did you ask ChatGBT for them? If you don’t like watching dark romance or toxic red flag characters, why are you watching that genre? I hate horror, I don’t go looking for it. I especially don’t watch it and then start complaining about how much I hated it. People are trying to understand what makes a character like LF tick, that doesn’t mean they are agreeing or glorifying his behavior! It isn’t about criticism, it’s about the fact that you can’t even have discussions about a character’s behavior or personality without being labeled a freaking rape defender or glorifying rape, abuse, etc. The morality police is getting out of hand.

Did you not read the part where they say that they are trying to get the diagnosis of Bipolar, which means they clearly are talking to a professional! Don’t be so preachy.
