Too bad guys, the original manga especially the sequel got forced cop drama plot in it. It was ass 😭 it's a shame the drama can't change the plot much since it's an adaptation

In the drama Takoi is 38 while Shiono is 28.
In real life, Takoi's actor is 35 while Shiono's actor is 22

The actress who played as shiono's sister is also an Akita native. The casting team really locked in lol

The show is doing quite well considering there is no idol in the cast and it isn't school-themed. Viewer of the drama is just on the older side compared to school jbls lol

The original manga is comedy heavy so you'll probably find this drama overacted, but overall this has great balance of things so it's enjoyable

Actually we're into the season 2 of the manga already for episode 7

Plot is generic but the production is so well-made from casting, script, direction, and camera work it actually kinda surpasses the manga's quality lol

I actually can't expect much since i predict it will be frustrating trope smth like Takoi's jealousy. But this screenwriter has had some good twist on the original story so crossing my finger it will end in a good note
