I'm counting on that. What happened on the Japan trip is so unnecessary and just...disturbing. I really hope they cut that part out or make some changes so that Korn won't have to play ašpist, that Put can keep his character's depth without becoming a total jerk, and that LJ won't have to suffer from a traumatizing nightmare. And I really hope they'll keep Dan as a villain so that Donut's first bl love interest will still be Korn. I know it's silly and un-called for but I just couldn't get it out of my mindš„².
I've skimmed through the novel. So Win is out of the picture now and his storyline is incorporated with Dan'sājust like what I've been feared all this time...it's just so weird for me to see Donut's first BL love interest to be someone else instead of Korn, well maybe that's my own problem. But what are they going to do in the next episodes baffles me even more, Dan was the "bad guy" in the original novel and Win was not. They are like polar opposites. All Dan wanted was using LJ to hurt BJ, but Win really loved and cared for LJ. How are they going to balance that? And what about the Japan incident happened between Put and LJ? To me it's just disgusting and meaningless. Will they remove it? It's really a torture for me to see Korn play such an off-putting character if they decides to keep it. My guess is that Dan's still gonna be the bad guy for plot's sake. And they are gonna remove the Japan incident, the fact that LJ went back to BJ is enough to drive Put out of his mind. Even if they are going to keep it, it really doesn't have to go through like the novel. On the narrative level an attempted assault is enough to destroy the friendship between Put and LJ and push the story further. The only 'merit' I can think of keeping it is that it'll make the viewers more confused about whether BJ really killed Put or not, but the price is just too high.
Is there anyone who's read the novel give me some spoilers please?
Did Put really die because of Big Jane? Did Dan get into a relationship with Little Jane? If so, how long were they together? The plot just keeps me awake at night after someone spoiled it for me in another comment section.

I'm currently surviving on it and saving the episodes to savor...Why is this only 14 episodes they should make more, I just saw ep5 where Zouey made up with his bf and calls him senpai, my heart fluttered like a butterfly when I heard him say it . Korn is so cute and thank god they cast him on 2 new shows this year so I can watch more of him...and he's still so cute 3 years later. The emotional outburst scene towards the end of ep4 is so well-performed and heartbreaking, and the highly stylized and saturated red light just made everything better, the director is so good I can actually see some mise-en-scĆØne here. Incredible.
Don't hit your friend...that looks like quite a blow. My heart is aching. I feel that Put is only trying to help his friend from a man with a questionable reputation. Maybe it's just that I like Korn so much I couldn't even bear to see his character gets hit... All in all, I'm not entirely happy about the first 2 episode. The pacing is kinda off. Their relationship seems to be moving too fast for me. The director fails to build a clear character out of big Jane except that he clearly has interest in little Jane for some reason, and that he is a mysterious man. It's just a little frustrating for me. I hope it gets better in later episodes because overall I'm enjoying this show.

I guess this is one of Mame' s earlier works. LITA, Love Sea and TBNW also have some red flags, but never this many... This one gives off the vibe of early 10s C-BL novels, where these kinds of red flags are everywhere. If it's true, then she's definitely gotten better with her writing over the years.

I'm sorry for the "beauty and beast" part...I've watched more thai bl dramas now and there are so many good-looking actors...The recent thai bl dramas bring many fine new couples, my heart is drawn to Lust, Payback and Don't be too emotional. But I still love fortpeat the most, and always will be.
