Even though your love is pure, I will choose toxicity.

Right from episode 1, you are given the wrong idea on what the story will stay on. Our female lead Seo Dal-Mi receives letter from her "1st love" who writes her letter by the name of Nam Do San. Later, the real Nam Do San in brought to her adult life and everything that was set up in first episode is lost.

The whole business point of view in the drama is nice but it's such a pity that drama looses that point and becomes too focused on the love triangle.

Won In Jae played by the amazing Kang Ha Na, even though is on the main cover on drama she is lost in the drama. Her importance is so much lost that she isn't even told that her grandma is loosing vision.

I really didn't cared for the friends of NDS and only cared for Sa-Ha's character which I thought had quite a lot of build up as her expressions and acting was enjoyable.

Now the main reason why this drama is not worth it, the way too much focus on love triangle. This drama makes our male lead Nam Do San looks so so so so bad that you automatically lean toward Han Ji-Pyeong. Nam Do san goes through nothing and still earns everyones respect at the end. He had a caring mother, supportive friends and home most importantly, yet his character comes of as whiny and arrogant. He is shown to he someone we are suppose to sympathize with but he even after time lapse shows no growth. His whole image is based of from the letters that HAN JI PYEONG wrote. Even in business deals he is always forcing Dal Mi to make decisions on basis of "why not" which isn't reliable.

Now for Seo Dal Mi played by Bae Suzy, her character has nothing but to choose who shs wants as her bae? Rather then coming of as strong she came out as too much dependant on people around her and it wasn't worth watching. The conversation about the letters that was held between her and HJP shows that those letters and feelings of 15 years weren't real and he wasn't even an option to begin with. She choose NDS cuz he had big hands? And that's it. "I like you cuz it's you" That is what she says to NDS while confessing which to me sounds toxic, like can't you even give one good reason as in to why you love your soulmate.

Han Ji Pyeong will always be the most miserable second lead. He went through so much pain not just as kid who by the way had no shelter, but even as adult goes through so so so so much emotional baggage that even if he was given an IU in the last episode (someone said this and I find it sad rather then funny) nothing could've redeemed him. I'm glad that we were given Kim Seon Ho as our 2nd lead cuz I'm looking forward to him in other shows.

Acting by everyone was average at best, business point was lost in stupid love triangle, music was fine and fashion wasn't interesting either.

Such a waste of star-studded cast. That's it. That's how I'll summarize this drama.

4.5\10 rating just cuz Kim Seon Ho deserves more praise.

I hardly ever cry in dramas. Imma tough rock to move but well Time was worth every tear. You see Soo Ho was a arrogant person from the beginning and then he is given the huge news. From that point to his last moment you can see a change in him. You can see from being an heartless person to loving and cherishing, protecting Ji hyun.
I liked Ji Hyun's character the most. She was wronged in so so many ways it's impossible to fathom her pain.
This has to be Jung Hyun's most underrated work far.
The scene where he prepares meal for her, picks the plate up and tries to see in becuase he is loosing his vision made my cry so so so so bad ):
The reason for low rating is the second half of the drama which took away the charm. KJH had to leave the show for health issues and the story does sulken. Overall I will suggest it for some emotional heartbreaks.

Classic case of people in power misusing it.

The series tackles the hardships of men going through mandatory military service and why some of them decide to run away. The show is filled with horror of bullying, abuse, rough language and dark themes of suicide yet the show never crosses the limit to show something to an extent where you just can't stomach it.

The humor is the show is subtle and effective making you feel a bit better otherwise you are just walking in a dark tunnel with endless fears.

The duo between Kyo Hwan and Jung Hae In was perfect and had great chemistry as collegues. The ensemble cast also is perfect in their roles.

Music, cinematography, action and thrill all were well done and keeps you hooked. Honestly, after watching this I want to see Jung Hae In a negative role, cuz he really can pull it off.

Lastly take a shot everytime Hae In says "Private Ahn Jun Ho" xd.

Not everyone's cup of tea.

Warning: Essay ahead

Stepping into the world of Run-On I had no idea what the plot was. And it is a good thing.

Don't get me wrong I don't mean that the drama has no plot, but it's more like following journey of four adults rather then watching drama filled with unnecessary drama.

The story revolves around four unique people and how their paths cross each other. The drama has no unnecessary plot twists, time gap, overly dramatic characters.

Oh Mi Jo is one of the most cutest female lead ever. He character is wonderfully played by Shin Se kyung. She is not a damsel in distress neither does she take sh*t from anyone. She is headstrong and knows how to hold one's attention. Her job as a translator made me realize how little we appreciate these hard working people who make it easy for us to watch dramas or foreign project. She has flaws but she is very well aware of it. There isn't a moment I felt her as weak or have too much emotional dependence on anyone.

I'm Siwan needs an daesang for his performance of Ki Seon Gyeom. At first KSG may come of as bit unstable? But once you learn his life long struggle and how he had to deal with pressure of his father you start to love him.
He is respectful and knows his boundaries. His deadpan humor is the most hilarious thing ever. He isn't trying to be unique or quirky, he is like that. A little confuse yet completely aware of his surrounding.

Their relationship is purely based of conversation. They TALK. They show us how relationships should be done and how just by TALKING you can solve a lot of issues. In fact, their relation is one of the most healthiest relationship I have ever seen.

Seo Dan ah played by the gorgeous Soo young is challenging all the stereotypes ever. She is fiesty, strong, extremely confident. She isn't easy to step on and isn't dependent on anyone. Her issues with her family and struggles are real and you want to root for her till the end. Her relation with Lee Young Hwa (played by Kang Tae Oh) is refreshing in terms of how much the roles are reversed. At first LYH may come of as bit to obsessed with her but slowly you realize he respects her so much. He wants to show her the lighter side of life and love her regardless of her position or status.

The drama is written with depth. The characters are shown taking medicine, they are having issues with their parents, they are having a hard time having an equal balance between work and life. You see them in pajamas or fall sick like it's daily life not some dramatic sitcom. The writer put effort into it and it translated beautifully on our screens.

Even the side characters have amazing plot arc, and are equally important to the story. The writer isn't afraid to show out of the box characters. I'm not educated enough on this topic but it was pleasant to see a female lead openly confess on screen she is lesbian even if it was for her benefit. Or LYH's friend being gay, or OMJ's roomate being an asexual. It's so refreshing to see.

The music was top notch, the aesthetic was amazing, has no love triangle, casting and acting by everyone was great. Overall Run On is am amazingly done drama and I would suggest you to watch this for the characters and feel good factor of it.

You know how some dramas become your guilty pleasure but this one just was bad by each and every single episode.
The ending was no shocker to me but I had a little hope that writer might save the ship but no. We don't do that here.
Sa Bin choosing JB over Soo Hyuk is like throwing yourself in a well by your own will, when a clean water tap is just few steps ahead.
JB needed help, psychological help. He needed to know that his stalking and creepy tendencies weren't cute but somehow the writer decided to make him a sad hero when Soo Hyuk really did had potential to he the saving grace.
Sa Bin was dumb and her whole "Yes I can fix JB" theory was boiling my blood. It's not your damn job to fix anyone.
Whenever she felt pain in her heart I hopped she would just leave becuase there was no need for Soo Hyuk to suffer.
Again, the idea of reincarnation was really unique and good but the execution and character development was just garbage. I'm not sure why would anyone support Jb and Sa-Bin's relationship.
