Just finished this. I found this much much better than the Korean version. I normally prefer original over remakes and adaptation but this was an outlier. Especially the role of Misaki, I liked her significantly more than Kim Hye Soo's role. And the pacing was significantly better than the Korean version as well (which I found dreadfully slow due to it being far too long; sorry but the story did not require 16 episodes whatsoever). Kentaro was as effective as Le Je Hoon in this role as well, I liked them both equally in these roles. Both of them really made the role come to life.
um bro netflix never did any horror dramas about demons and spirits tho? but i heard island is coming soon since…
Yes I know, which is unfortunate. You know considering the Guest was a huge critical and commercial hit and the Wailing gained massive acclaimed internationally, you'd expect Kdrama/movie makers to explore this type of genre more but for some reason they seem to be running the complete opposite way.

Not Kdramas. But they've done plenty in the west (the Haunting series for e.g) which is why I expected them to invest in Kdramas like that. It's disappointing to see that most of these dramas are crime dramas or romcoms.
Again I'll mention I was thinking of premise along the likes of Priest, The Guest, The Wailing etc. Actual "Horror" show with scares and spirits and demons and possessions and exorcisms and shamanism etc. Bulgasal's a fantasy show not horror.
It happened when he was a kid so I personally would just forgive him, but this is SK we;re talking about and it involved physical violence (which he admitted to). They're cancelling celebs over spats that happened during elementary school days.
Highly disappointing that there's no upcoming horror kdrama centred around demons and spirits. Since it's Netflix, I'd expected them to do some of these stories but disappointing to see not.
lol wut, that's definitely not the case. Not to mention there aren't many shows with that theme either.
That's definitely the case. Look at some of the comments disliking the noona-dongsaeng romance and check their drama list to see them giving dramas where the ML are the 10+ yr older ones 10/10.
Vagabond was not a Netflix produced show either, they had the license to air it. They don't have a say in its renewal.
Arthdal is a tvN show not a Netflix show. Netflix had the license to air it.
