Dafuq???? This is a HUGE blunder girl. Hong Sisters might not have the best scripts, but their dramas usually blow up huge. An opportunity like this doesn't come so easy SMH
Sounds like a 'Serious-actor' script choice. I know JCW will act the shit out of this role!! ^^ I pray to drama-gods…
I pray to god that it is a serious actor script. I'm so done with him choosing scripts with very little substance. Those are fine for upcoming actors, but JCW is already a popular, well established actor. I wanna kick his management for sticking him with such mediocre scripts.
Fair, the drama drags on for far too long anyway. Like they dragged the wrong brother storyline for too long and at the end there's like such artificial dramas it feels like filler content.
This a favorite western show. I'm a huge fan so don't know how I feel about this particular actress as the role.…
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Im Soo Hyang personally. I find her a tad too wooden. Jane on the other hand is such a vibrant character, I'm very skeptical of this.

Hopefully she ends up with the right person this time and no I'm not talking about Rafael. The right person was…
Yessss. Michael was the one for her and they butchered the ending.
But I doubt they'll do the full show here, they'll prolly do half of it or less than half of it. Hard to condense a 100 episodes drama into a 16-20 episodes series.
Yes, the brother likes the FL and in fact tries to use the FL's mental problems to strongarm her into being with him (even though the FL is in love with his brother) and tries to prevent the ML from being with FL using it by blackmailing him using her disease. Very unlikeable character.
No matter how naive you are or how close with the opponent you are, you don't share team weakness, secrets and strategies with your opponent before a match whatsoever. Unless you're an idiot or unless you're begging to lose. It's a basic knowledge which you learn as soon as you pick up a sport. Naivete is not an excuse to justify it whatsoever. That was a huge betrayal by him period. He should be benched for the upcoming matches as a punishment, let In Sol play in his stead.
I could name a few Pinoy series that make this one look like ITSAY.
I don't watch a lot of Pinoy shows prolly that's why. I've seen a few like LitM (which was one of my faves of 2020-2021), My Day, Hello Stranger (another fave of mine) etc.
History4 had a horrible story but the acting and production were hundred times better. I didn't bother with TharnType S2 because I didn't like S1 but the production and acting in that was also better than this. This one looks like it was made by a high school club.
Edit: Actually nvm, I just remembered Tossara exists. You're right, that one is WAY worse. Even me with my shitty standards for BL can't stand that show.
I am dropping this after 5 episodes. It is actually a really good story and the main characters are very likable…
The cinematography isn't terrible, it's a technique. It's influenced by European movies where cinematographers and directors often use such techniques to put stress on scenes. Watch Amelie for example, a French movie that influenced this show a lot, not just in terms of camera techniques but also the FL characterisation. This show actually is one of the most polished show you'll see in Kdrama world, they have employed a wide variety of camera techniques throughout from basic dolly zooms to trunk shots to whip pan and long tracks. The show is very Kubrickian too with lots of one point perspective shots throughout.
