Great article, well done! I may not be as fan of these dramas as you seem to be but your writing is really a good…
100% with you. IOTNBO imo is a hella problematic drama with its romanticisation of serious problems. Vincenzo, I got bored in the first few eps and dropped. Kingdom 2 was a disappointment in the face of Kingdom S1. 365 and Mr Queen are really good though.
IKR? Gumiho is just a hot mess, I didn't even bother after the initial episodes because it felt like a generic romcom.
I only have 3 recommendations between 2020-2021, and they're the 3 best dramas of this period: 1. The Diary of a Prosecutor 2. Into the Ring 3. Run On
Honestly, I personally had so much hopes for Hospital Playlist and it was going really good but after the first few episodes it just kept going downhill for me. Which left a really bitter taste in my mouth since the writer and the director's previous drama is still one of the best Kdrama imo (Prison Playbook).
He’s also accused of drugging and raping underaged girls. Yes, his life is not my business. But as a woman,…
Oh fuck off. 1 girl can lie, but we're talking about over 30 frigging women here. And there's solid evidence for this. Your rape oppalogist ar$e can't erase the fact that he drugged those women and raped them, 2 of them being underaged.
You had me convinced at the "Parody of cliches and tropes". This show had been sitting in my PTW list for awhile now,but now I'm starting this definitely. I'm an absolute sucker for satire.
