Step brother? It's not incestuous then even if there's one. Incest implies blood related.
HIStory4, IDK about FUTS because I didn't even know Nan had a brother/stepbrother. Definition of incest implies consanguinity. People has just warped the definition of it now and use it in a solecistic manner.
I think this might be the missing big brother? LOL....I hope not.
"I believe that the "Friend" that speaks with Pi may not be Mork after all" - The guy who's speaking in those scenes is clearly the actor playing Mork. You can even see his face.
And here I thought this show was devoid of the toxic tropes GMMTV drama seems to promote. But no they had to throw the toxic fujo/fudan trope at us again by introducing the specs girl+guy who are just creepy stalkers and borderline offensive. So unnecessary. Why can't GMMTV shows ditch these type of characters in the past? It's 2021, forcing ships on the people being shipped is just toxic and problematic.
Ok some of you will hate to hear this but this drama is a hot mess. The plot is literally taking a back seat to…
My exact thought, the plot doesn't seem to advance at all instead the episode of filled with bad jokes that aren't remotely funny. The show could've been 100 times better if they toned it down and made it more grounded. But nah. Such a waste.
I don't like Deuan either, most of the bad jokes seems to stem from his annoying mouth (although the breaking of fourth wall, I like) and he is unnecessarily mean and abusive towards Meen. I can't find it in me to root for them at all. The only saving grace of the show for me are Mork and Nan, they seem to be the only sane people here. The plot and character development are completely lost in this chaotic mess.
So when does Sun Ae turn back to Bong Sun? I have watched a couple of episodes but I find it hard to get into…
They turn back and forth, but majority of the ML interaction with Bong Sun is when she's possessed by Sun Ae. In fact his interest in her starts when her personality makes a drastic change due to Sun Ae.
Y'all...idk about this BL? I am a fan of several of the actors but for some reason, I can't get into it. What's…
It's just pure fluff, if you wanna see characters be lovey dovey for 2 episodes then yeah. Anyone expecting a story shouldn't be watching it on the other hand because it clearly lacks a properly written story.
If you haven't liked it so far, it's better to drop it. You can't force yourself to like something or someone…
My personal rule with shows are I watch up to episode 5-6, if I don't like it till that then I drop it. Otherwise it's just a colossal waste of time most of the time
This show would have been one of the top Thai BL if it was more streamlined. I'd make these changes personally: 1. Completely remove "Aey is in love with Gene/Sib" storyline. It's not working. It's unnecessary and it fills no purpose. Should've solely focused on his family struggling to accept his sexuality. 2. Removed Tum-Tiffy pairing. I get it, the idea seems cute and Tum as a lovesick puppy is cute, but it's not working either. No chemistry first of all, and the whole Tiffy trying to force her opinion of Tum being gay on him goes against the core of the show i.e an expose of the Thai BL industry. 3. The Sib/Gene family acceptance of their sexuality was way too fast for me. Should've fleshed it out more. Given us more backdrop on what really happened to Gene's father and given us more POV scenes for Sib's father. Episode 9 was one of the best "coming out to the family" scene I've seen in a BL period, but episode 10 failed to do a proper follow up to it.
Despite all these, I can safely say it's head and shoulders above other popular Thai BL (like LBC and whole MAME toxicity or 2gether). One of the highlight of the show for me is how Gene's publisher seems to push him to write things he doesn't want to or is uncomfortable with. It makes me believe that most BL book publishers push writers to add in unnecessary sex scenes because fujos eat them all like candies.
2020-2021 has been the best period for BLs NGL. We have had so many progressive shows that tackles these toxicity. From Gaya Si Pelikula to ITSAY to Call it What You Want. We need more shows to call out these problematic things. Fingers crossed that GMMTV will someday join the wagon, sadly it may not happen since many of these problems are perpetuated by their shows.
Tum and Tiffy all throughout Episodes 9-10Tum: im not joking im not joking im not jokingTiffy: enough it's not…
I think the show is wasting screentime on these two. I didn't feel them in the beginning and I'm still not feeling it. Their chemistry is non-existent.
That cousin is a weirdo!
How are they related to Nan? And who does he end up with? Or is he in a throuple?
Can you spoil me on the Nan story?
