Are you sure it isn't getting attention? My husband is even watching it and loving it, and I can rarely get him…
Yep. I'm sure. An example -> During Start-Up's airing, whenever every episode was up, it'd trend on Twitter, this drama's barely generating any buzz on Twitter on the other hand. The game's also not doing as well as the former on Netflix, not ranking in the daily trending dramas. Also look at the # of watchers on this site. While MDL is not a good spectrum, it can give you a pretty good idea on how hit a drama is internationally, which is why shows like Goblin, CLOY etc. have high amount of watchers.
Love the build-up in Episode 8. It was like calm before the storm. I cannot wait for how this show will go on. Many things got confirmed in this episode as well.
The Counter's spirit partners basically seem to be spirits of dead people who are given the task to send the evil back to hell in return of reincarnation prolly once they imprison a set number of evil spirits. Also Suho being Mae-ok's son was confirmed as well as this subject wasn't touched upon after the initial revelation a few episodes ago. Cannot wait for more exposition of these two.
And they finally found the reservoir! And it turned out to be wasteland that's polluting the water source for the whole city of Jeong Jin. This is why Mayor's assistant was seen destroying the "Radioactivity report" document in the first episode!
And WOAH that next episode preview. Wtf they're gonna reveal their powers??? That's a violation of one of the rule Counters have to adhere to. And the fact that they keep using their powers against the Mayor's minions, which is another violation probably means they'll lose their powers temporarily in the future episodes.
Sadly, we'll have to wait 2 weeks for the next episodes. Oh lord, the wait will be painful. 2nd January could not come faster omg OCN, why did you have to do this to us T__T
Hana classified him as level 3 and right now he can attack even in someone's memory. I don't want to imagine what…
Yep, very difficult but with Somun's power to summon the Yung territory, their strength and powers get amplified 10 times, so they can fight much better.
Her brother, just like in the original kdrama but it ended tragically.
In the original, she falls in love with the fake brother. She then gets cancer and decides to spend her remaining days with him and she dies at the end.
If this follows the original, then yes. The SML never had ANY chance in the original drama since she falls in love with the fake brother very early on, so yeah he has no chance in this either.
Episode 7 got nationwide and metropolitan area rating of 7.7% and 7.6% respectively with a peak of 8.4%. This is MASSIVE. And it may go even above this soon. How tf is this not getting more traction internationally? Do international Kdrama watchers even have taste anymore ಠ_ಠ
I'm feeling strongly that Hyuk Woo will wind up a level four evil spirit. Obviously, the fourth level wasn't mentioned…
I'm sure Ji Jeong Shin has already levelled up. He has been killing left and right. He may even reach lvl 5-6, if that's possible. Unless ofc he's not eating the spirits of the dead. This is where Somun being able to master his powers comes into effect. I don't think Jeongshin will die at the hands of Hyukwoo though, because he has the spirits of imp characters (Cheoljeong and Somun's parents).
P.S so many props to this show. Speaking on real LGBT topics like "Micro-Aggressions" and how to be a real ally…
Most Thai BLs are also very problematic (same with Chinese ones). They all contain elements like: 1. Non-consensual kisses/sexual assault and they romanticise it and portray it like it's a romantic, perfectly normal thing to do. 2. Horribly written female characters. They're either jealous, toxic ex or fujotshis who are creepy af and stalk the main leads just to take secret pics and videos of them and fetishes every guy they see together. 3. The whole "wife" calling. It's so emasculating. It's not just misogynistic (because there's implication that women is the submissive, weaker sex), it's also basically saying bottoms gays are not even men. etc. etc.
This one was such a fresh breath of air after all that toxicity. I hope more gay shows (Not BL, because BL is a toxic genre!) pops up in the future. I already have read the My Ride novel (another Thai "BL") and am excited for that one because it's unlike the other Thai "BL"s.
I think the main problem here is studios like GMMTV are the big thing in Thailand and they seem to not want to move on to a more progressive topic and instead keep churning out shows aimed at straight teen girls.
No. Basically they explained that evil entities attaches themselves to a person who has the malicious intent to…
I actually think his biggest target is his father (the Mayor) because he seems to hate his father. I'm smelling a domestic abuse, both physical and mental, case here.
*sees MangoTV* FRICK!
