Goblin and CLOY were also overrated af. Personally, I don't get the hype over any of these three dramas.
Goblin was a snoozefest. CLOY was a cringefest (seriously that scene in Ep 4 iirc where they glide off into the air when being chased by North Korean soldiers had me crying and sobbing and dying due to how terrible it was). This one is overrated but it's not as boring or as cringy as either of those.
I liked it a lot. It's a pretty standard romcom. It wasn't bad or extraordinary. It tried to aim for simple stuff and it was fine due to it. People expect too much from romcoms these days and when they don't get some groundbreaking stuff they get irritated by it.
I liked Moon Sangmin a lot in this drama. Hope to see more romcoms with him in the future.
Sadly YMX doesn't change much. Even after he finds out about ZX. He keeps pushing himself on the latter. It's…
I've read it fully and lord it's toxic. The drama Stand With Me toned down a lot of its toxicity and removed the horrible r*pe scene completely. Which was a good change.
Yes. It's even more satisfying with the "younger" ZX refuses to reciprocate his feelings and keeps a distance between the who even after he finds out. I wanted him to suffer and cry more omg
Poom is so beautiful. I think they might've changed Joe's traits to fit him so there's that too. I just hope they do the angst justice.

Yep! It was literally reminiscent of that scene in Addicted where Gu Hai kidnaps BLY and ties him up and rapes him repeatedly. So disgusting :/ IDK why Chinese BL authors can't write a romance without rape like what tf is wrong with them??
MX becomes nicer toward ZX defo but like you know the same obstinacy and disregard for ZX's feelings still remains. It's so annoying because like he did NOT deserve a second chance imo I personally wanted Zhou Xiang to end up with the other guy (Lan Xirong) instead. He treated him well and with respect unlike YMX.
I'm defo watching this one because looking at the trailer I believe they changed a lot of things and toned down the toxicity. *fingers crossed*
Ouch. Well, the novel is certainly a tough read (and I'd probably have stopped by now if it wasn't so interesting.…
Sadly YMX doesn't change much. Even after he finds out about ZX. He keeps pushing himself on the latter. It's so despicable.
That scene during the flashback where he basically raped (Yes it IS rape) ZX after tying him up was so disgusting. It had me wanting to punch him so hard. And yes ZX is a precious man, I wanted to protect him from the evils of YMX!
Yep. It's Chinese. Novel is called Professional Body Double , so just google "Professional Body Double epub" (or replace epub with translation) and you'll find the book.
Okay I finished the book and I have mixed feelings now. Their relationship was super toxic so I do hope they made some changes to it for this show and lord Ming's character in the book was such a total PoS. I was in fact rooting against him due to how terrible he was to Joe. I pray they made LOTS of changes for this adaptation because if they kept his character the same then I fear I'm gonna have to root for the SML.
Okay I'm reading the book (IT'S SO GOOD) and I kinda see why people are saying they were miscast. Poom is far too beautiful to play Joe LOL Altho tbh they could've simply fixed this by exchanging their roles. Up should've played Joe and Poom should've played Ming.
