So most of the time they do not pursue criminal charges against false accuser (in real life false accusations are incredibly rare, celebs are more vulnerable to it due to their status so it feels it happens often when it reality they're the outliers).

MBC and KBS2 daily dramas have always struggled with ratings though. Only KBS1 daily dramas do well, this has been the pattern for years. KBS1 daily dramas (the hit ones) easily hits 15% on the other hand. The current one isn't do so well though (I don't blame them, that drama tests my patience).

I didn't question why you hate this drama, I questioned why you think BP, an equally tropey drama did trope better. So I can understand where you're coming from. And no I don't think this drama is great, it's defo 8/10 at best but that's because like BP it's a very tropey show that has nothing unique to offer. Both of these dramas are fun watch but are generic as they come romcoms.

You're cherrypicking. "it was because she had pushed him and he dragged her down" - literally exists in most romcoms in Kdrama. "there was colour added which made it visually interesting" - this is completely subjective and doesn't even make sense because adding "colours" doesn't make it less tropey.

It's a romcom. It's gonna be a factory of recycled tropes. Nothing new here, all romcoms do it. Business Proposal for e.g was full of recycled tropes but it was still fun and great.

Every country airs their shows on TV. What are you talking about? OTT original shows are different than TV shows.

The roof for breaking record for See You In My 19th Life is especially high since it airs on the BEST timeslot tvN has. Sat-Sun 9:20PM is the golden timeslot for tvN and for the 4 episode, it has only attracted an average of 1.4mil viewers, which is not very high.

Korean dramas air on Free channels (SBS, KBS and MBC) or paid cable channels (OCN, tvN, jtbc, MBN, ENA, TV Chosun).

A drama is considered a hit for a free channel if it hits ~14-15% ratings because since these channels are free, almost every TV in SK has access to them. In comparison, for paid cable channels, a drama is considered a hit if it lands a viewership of 8-9% or higher since these channels aren't accessible by everyone, they usually generate lower viewership on average.

It's just a list that doesn't take acting talent into account and only looks and popularity. Some of the top 10 are average actors at best. Like you'd have to know nothing about acting to believe the likes of YY and DW are top 10 caliber actors.
