You forget about chinese censoredship. There is no way they will let heavy bullying pass, and for that matter, they always cover up real life bad news, even natural disasters.

I was thinking maybe they’re doing the ol’ bait and switch, putting yang2 on the poster, and even on the title itself, and then the series will actually be female centric

But then i thought it doesnt make sense. Yang2 is still a top actor, i dont think he would be willing to play second fiddle to female leads, unless he isn’t anymore, i don’t exactly follow chinese celeb news

ML’s decision to join this drama is perfect. Acting in one of these more serious drama has seriously increased his acting chops,

Next, if he’s brave enough to break out of his own image and take either a silly/idiot role, or a villain role, he would be a high calibre actor.

Either way, i think his future seems to be set as he managed to transfer from idol doing acting to actor doing acting image.

Glad the male lead starting to pick up a heavier/more serious toned roles. It wont be easy and sometimes he will make mistakes and look awkward, but this is how he can improve.

I was worried he would just be stuck as another one of those pretty boys taking rom com roles after roles.

It would be so great if he can increase his acting range. I get that being an idol and all, they have weird image thingy they need to keep but he cant be an idol forever, and if he wants to succeed in acting, he will need to be more than just a run of the mill typical handsome quite prince
