This turned out to be a fun drama, I'm glad I listened to all who encouraged me here to watch it. I liked it a lot, much more than sold put on you (which i have dropped). I liked the progression of the relationship and how emotionally wholesome the ml is. Nice👍👍
I really wanted to enjoy this, it seemed like it held promise but I'm at ep 2 & I've just about had it with this fl🙄! Her acting seems forced, nothing cute or believable about it. I'm doubly disappointed because when thr show was announced, I thought it was Chae Soo Bin who would be d FL, only see Chae Won Bin, whom I had never even heard of...🙄👎.
I thought the show might be a bit like Potato Lab or some other show partly set outside of Seoul & other big cities. I've even tried to watch just because of Ahn Hyo Seop & d other supporting cast, who are really great actors, but d script & d Fl are a buzz killer.
I dunno why I put this off for so long, I even started & dropped ep 1 thinking it might be boring. But man, am I glad I picked it up again! This drama is soooo good! I love Zhang Wan Yi! His expressions are so good, love when he's being sarcastic too. Zhang Chi is just so funny, his dace & tall, lanky frame doesn't help 😄🤭 FL is quite pretty. Why are almost all the princess royales in C-Dramas so annoying? The only exception is the one in Blossom. And that fl's grandma, I really, trully wish I could enter d screen & land her a sound, brain-resetting slap🖐🙄
This was like Taxi Driver + Study Group + Juvenile Justice + Undercover High School + High School Return of a Gangster remixed & remastered, with lots of funny. Really satisfying show to watch, yet thought provoking & even emotional. That scene where Kim Mu Yeol fought, or rather beat up, the gangsters at that tech school was amazing! The action was really good in this show 👏
I personally hate bully stories, I don't understand why there's so much of it in Korea, in Asia I guess, & its one of the few things I dislike about Korea.
I don't get how such young people as teenagers can have such evil thoughts & intentions against others. This almost never happens where I live. Bullies only understand strength & force, everyone should learn how to protect themselves, no one should have to suffer for some idiot's stupidity & low self-esteem. I loved that the bullies got served their very own medicine!
This is one of the best things I've ever seen anywhere! Hilarious, outrageous, entertaining, very well-made! Big up to the writers & directors of this show, there's nothing else like it anywhere. My favourite characters are prince Ying, princess Jiamin, & general A'wa😄😆😆
I NEVER watch a drama while it is airing because I can't take the suspense. I just finished this drama, & I must say I liked it. This drama is like The Last Empress and Crashlanding On You remixed & revamped ...🙊🤭
When it was announced, I thought there was just too much hype about the leads, mainly since they had each had hugely successful dramas in the preceeding 2 years, but having watched it now, I see that it was very well done. Even the controversy does not bother me at all. The humour was good, the romance was good, it gave me all the 'feelings' a fantasy romance drams ought to give. Quite 'Cinderella-ey', but with a nice spin of a grounded, no-nonsense, indefatiguable, goal-getting fl.
Question; is IU really that short, or is BWS really tall? Cos even with high heels, she barely reached his shoulder...🤔.
A few things I wish they had done differently are; 1. I wish they given more depth to the cameo roles of Im Cheol Soo & Yoon Byeong Hee. They are too good to be wasted in any drama. 2. I wish they told us what the Prime minister's punishment/sentence was. 3. I wish they showed BWS doing some sort of physical work out shirtless...🙊🙈😉😁🤩 4. I wish they had showed karma hitting some of IU's haters later in life, like that boy at school who constantly belittled & sooke ill of her.
Besides that, it's a really nice show. I love the cool OSTs, they're just my taste!😉😁
