I used to love the boards. Now I am constantly battling between habit and knowing that anything and everything is apparently fair game to get harassed.

For one, there's region to consider. Not all countries have the same access. Sometimes a VPN helps, sometimes it doesn't.

But also, every airing series on IQIYI tends to have a complicated period of accessibility in the first few weeks.

It's a mame series though. Her whole catalog is centered around unhealthy, toxic, and/or problematic characters, relationships and their growth. It's kinda a given with her works that there's gonna be content that will not sit with everyone - and that definitely should not be taken as acceptable in real life.

It wasn't just cutie pie. It's been like a trend for many many shows. So don't hold on to too much hope.

Officially they premier on the youtube channel MeMindY for free. HOWEVER, there might be some geoblocking for your area (because some countries have it on iqiyi for pay, and they dont want to mess with that).

And before that you said "I don't know. What was that in the bathroom stall? Those "almost kisses"?" And considering that there have been people who genuinely asked that question in response to this scene, I figured I'd respond.

I wasn't saying that your opinions about what is hot or not for you was wrong. I was merely explaining that that is a common form of foreplay.

Some people do touches, some people do air, and some people do proximity. Or a combination of all of the above. There's no 1 way to do foreplay.

I think the penguins scene and such was when Takara was developing feelings. Before they started going out. That's what the dialogue was kinda pointing to. Because it was all before he signed up for the environmental club. And it was the environmental club meeting where they were pulling up weeds and Amagi confessed.

I think some of your points about the script are mainly rooted in the lack of clear chronology. I think we would've been better off exploring the start and then going from there. Rather than bouncing back and forth in time as well as between the 2 perspectives.

My understanding is we see how it started/progressed for Amagi and then how it started/progressed for Takara. Mixed in between that broken scene of some time in the future when Amagi starts backing away.

I think most people are referring to the time skips. They arent very clearly defined (i.e. labelled with something like 2 Months Ago / Present Day). I've come to the realization that A LOT of people have issues with time skips in general, so the way they did it in the first episode was especially confusing/jarring for them.

I don't have a problem with them personally. But they could've been done more smoothly/clearly. Also, I still don't know if the scene in the classroom is before the events of next episode or towards the end of the series.

A fairly decent mindless watch. It focuses on 4 girls (Ching, Phoenix, Candy, and Sugar) who are all working as promotional girls for products for various reasons (Ching is a poor college student saving up for a graduation trip with her boyfriend, Phoenix is an ex-prisoner who was framed for her ex's financial crimes and can't get a job elsewhere, and Candy and Sugar are money-hungry friends on the look out for sugar daddies). We see their struggles in love and friendship (but despite that, i wouldnt consider either of these to be genre-level elements). But ultimately, nothing about their situations really change from beginning to end (except for Ching) and there weren't any characters compelling enough to stick with you after you finish.

Kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy going on. After all, one of them obviously knew the date and time before that day. I wonder if she started distancing because she saw the date was coming up.

I feel like the message would've been better if they ended it with the mains removing the app and deciding to date again after they break up. To live life on their own terms.

I mean, since not everyone gets on the app, and it was even one of the characters' first time using it, it tells me that it's not mandatory. Nor is there probably something saying they can't date again after that break up.

Just saw a fan video of this. It looks awesome! Does anyone know what streaming services it will be on for the US (if at all)?
