Is anyone watching Samdalri? I couldn't get motivated to go past first episode... lmk, no spoilers. I think it's fatigue from the 2 leads, but their characters' personalities both rubbed me up the wrong way too... come to think of it, the trio of ladies was like King The Land, the setting was like cha-cha-cha, maybe I'll pick it up again in 6 months.
Can we ban Happy Birthday comments? They only make sense on one day of the year, yet they stick around forever. She isn't going to read this page either.
I see what you mean, by international you mean an American-based multinational platform. Maybe Netflix will add it later, do a deal with Viki if Viki got the exclusive, as it appears to have. I'm through with Viki now, fed up with the disrespectful attitude, I'll just miss dramas not on my favourite platforms.
Why congratulate someone you don't know? He's the annoying/pointless one in Coffee Prince.
It's not about me, I don't need to qualify my comments. Can you imagine a world where all but a few opinions were disqualified? That's a good topic for a dystopian drama.
My Dearest was excellent. But these network awards are a little self-serving. Having joint winners. And Kokdu? I like her, but she wasn't great in it, nobody was, it was a misfiring meltdown, wrong in every aspect, a turkey, or razzie as they call it in America.
I haven't got past episode 1 yet, for some reason all the air went out of my balloon.
Could be... I heard it could be released in a few months... I think the last 3 eps is the end of part 1, but you're right, maybe some confusion. Netflix is slowly realising K-drama fans don't like 'seasons'.
Yes, it's about nothing. Pick a year that sounds interesting. Pick some famous actors. Pick words from the a combination of past films and dramas. Add random monsters and Japanese baddies. Throw it together. Voila! 2 seasons of nothingness that us potatoes will watch, force ourselves to enjoy and consume subliminally. It's us viewers who are the subjects of an AI experiment. David Cronenberg saw it in the 1980s and made a film called Videodrome.
