I thought I might be the only person who would wait in line to watch Sung Hoon in anything or do anything. Can…
He seems to have a great personality that shines through in his characters. I also like him, his charm is infectious - and he clearly has a great sense of humour, which also makes his characters extremely likeable.

Good idea. The Fiery Priest... no, that tops my list of dramas that annoyed me the most. Annoyed with myself, it was so pointless, I felt guilty for wasting my time when I knew there was nothing there.
We don't have to. I'm not waiting to see, there are plenty of dramas on my watch list to catch up on. I won't waste one more second on this crass and shallow writer. I'll give him some credit, Good Doctor was great.
Somehow Suzy will ruin this drama. They should reconsider... after her performance in Doona 💀 NO.
Bit harsh, I agree Doona was a very basic role, I don't think many actors could have papered over the cracks - she should have turned it down though. Some actors know how to pick a script and you can always trust their choices; others don't have that skill which weakens their reputation - Suzy is still climbing out of the hole she dug with her early dramas. But recently her acting's been good, with Anna her best to date... and before Anna, Start Up was her best to date. I watched Doona but didn't think it was her acting, a (bad) director or editor can leave scenes in the cut that would make any actor in the world look bad.
Why the need to mention and compare it with another drama? 😂 oh well, ok
Because the comments for My Demon are ridiculous, from the words to the number of votes, it's totally out of sync with the norm on this site. It's called collusion. This drama is the real deal, this is what K-drama means to me, not pandering to the lowest denominator.
I just watched the promo on Netflix. It looks very netflixy, with superimposed exclamation marks and other exaggerations that no K-drama needs - it's like a comedian that explains their own jokes. Is this going to be yet another try-hard K-drama for foreigners type thing?
oh but it was worth watching she is 30+ big woman....not creepy at all! Ill be creeped out if it was a 20 year…
Agree, it all depends on context, character, situation. Age is what it is, anyone who's never fancied a fellow adult from a different generation is purely a virtue-signalling liar - or has never really lived.
Kim Eun-sok shouldn't be referred to as "The Glory writer". She's written too many top dramas to be tagged like that. Secret Garden and Guardian the Lonely and Great God to name but two of her works which were richer than The Glory.
People should learn to give time to a drama....Its quite impatient of them to immediately jump on a negative conclusion…
You should learn to face reality. Most people know what potential a drama holds from one episode*, even if it wasn't good. This drama technically had a decent first episode but not much potential - red flags.
* I got one wrong recently, Marriage Revenge, some trustworthy MDLers set me straight.
hmm I like Chung Ah but her performance wasn't the best as support she only was in 12 episodes for like a few…
Sorry, late reply. She played the role she was given very well... in one scene she utters a single word that brought a lump to my throat: "Go!" That's how a great drama performs its magic.
nah, this is actually fun unlike goblin which was cringe af
Ha ha, rom-com. You won't get any romance or comedy here. You might see people going through the motions, nothing more. One lead doesn't have the acting prowess, the other has no real perception of themselves, only a calculation of variables.
Brilliant take on the leap to the modern world.

That's how a great drama performs its magic.
Episode 1: 4.5%.
Episode 2: 3.4%.
Don't cry, over effusive fan boys and girls 😆
