I love the singing segments in the show. They are so well directed and all the songs are really impactful.
What a voice! They even spelled it out in the script in ep 3 or 4 at the TV show meeting. But Netflix subs were wrong. Perfect pitch is a listening skill. Pitch perfect is singing with perfect intonation. On top of that her clarity, passion, tone and resonance is incredible.

Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
i think if we watch the drama's trailer now we can identify who is kiho. and after watching the trailer and connecting…
No, I don't think so, but he knows the situation, who Kiho is, about his father and why it must be kept secret. They seem to have the same mother. Maybe Bo-geol is prepared to tell Mok Ha, he realised immediately who sent the flowers.

I loved Mok-ha the demented fan girl at the start of episode 3, really funny

I skipped all the scenes about clicking fingers and piles. Gross and not funny - assume they thought that was funny, wow, so literal, they probably also think that big red glasses and orange wigs are also hilarious.

I forgot everything that happened in S1. Why do sequels of successful dramas always take so long? The hype would…
Nothing happened. A group of misfits got holed up in their apartment building and the world was filled with other odd-bods, weirdos and monsters who they had to kill. It started in the middle and ended in the middle, just for the sake of repeating it every year.
Watch K-drama Happiness if you want to see this done right.

Remake of a mediocre movie. Like the original, it had a stagey feel to it. I liked the scenarios and careers in this version better and, unlike other reviewers, this version touched my heart more than the original.

It seems Netflix has also announced the release year for season 3 in 2024. And season 4 in 2025. And season 5 in 2026 •
Apparently each 'season' will have refreshing new monsters and the humans concoct refreshing new ways to kill them with just a few casualties each time. I hope the comments remain as enthusiastic for each 'season'. Why do they even call them 'seasons' when they couldn't be less season-like?

I find myself asking WHY? about one half of most current and upcoming K drama pairings. I really like JJS, and…
I think she tries to conceal the fact that she lacks confidence. I'm waiting for her to mature, throw herself into her role and put in an earnest performance without worrying about who she is. I think she has it in her.

It was always intended to be 2 parts. Both part 1 & 2 were filmed simultaneously over 13 months.
Some bits of part 1 looked fantastic, like top of the range sci fi action. Narrative was wonky. There seems to be a phobia in k-movies to tell a linear story, they're so stuck on the idea it's boring or something - so it looks a lot like 2 movies stuck together off the cutting room floor ... and it turns out to be just half the story... abruptly cut in half - so it can't be taken as a movie on its own. And there was some silliness which drags you out of the suspension of disbelief.
