Title Cassiopeia
Not much to grab hold onto here, fine performances and a gritty portrayal of Alzheimer's, but a lack of character development and stuttering narrative takes away the impact that was intended.

Shin Hye Sun is a brilliant actress. She always delivers a top class performance. On the other hand, except for…
No. That's incorrect. It's not just a question of taste either. One of his earliest successes was Empress Ki... he showed everything in that role, the range was incredible... and the courage to take on a character whose flaws outweighed his merits, a weak minded, powerless emperor. I've never seen anything else like it. If you've got time, it's a 51 episode epic.

After that performance he had nothing to prove, he established himself as an actor in the very top tier.

And, maybe taste comes into this one, but he's known to have a theatrical background. He was beguiling as the wizard in Sound of Magic, it's a magical production - a modern fairy tale... like the classics that originated from dark, gothic horror. You need to open your mind a little when something different comes along.

SHS is a good actress but hasn't had any nirvana performances as the lead... yet. Just my opinion. I think My Golden Life is still her best lead to date.

Who, Sa-rang ssi? She speaks 4 languages very well, she's extremely competent, she has a quick wit, she's funny,…
Ah I see... I didn't think she looked like an idiot and she handled the situations better than others, including men. I think the cheer was her reflex, it's to show she's unaccustomed to high-brow events... (although her childhood scene at the beach implies she's from wealthy origins, her outfit was expensive).
The tuna head was a bit of fun, not misogynistic - I thought at first that the rich owner insulted her by making her take home the head, but then I wondered if that is one of the finer delicacies of the tuna... I'm pretty squeamish when I see the dead creature, especially a huge tuna head, I certainly wasn't expecting that!

They are trying too hard with the comedy. Why are they making her look like an idiot? It's not funny, it's misogynistic.

both of the dramas especially this one is kind of inducing an " oh i should have pursued hotel management " thought…
After Coffee Prince, South Korea was awash with aspiring baristas, signing up to barista courses at universities.
Maybe SK currently has a shortage of hoteliers...

I hear you. Or even know the fancy suite exist and be awed by it, unless it's reserved for family and never ever…
On the way to the fancy suite, Mr Gu's secretary asks her... "you've worked here for 7 years, how do you not know about this room?"

Too much fast forwarding my friends.

It shows he also wants to break up with her but they don't talk about it. Still it's a poorly written drama.
If it's telling you all about his character in a glance, is it poorly written, or is it successfully written?

You called Yoona unpleasant looking? Every South Korean will be freaking mad at you.
I think it's just lonely troll looking for reaction. I'm mad too... and she's only my 3rd favourite actress from Girls' Generation.

I understand that most of you like the lead actors, but come on, don't "FAKE" it. If it had new actors, you would…
I get what you mean. I don't think either lead is a 'natural' at romantic comedy but I'm enjoying it. Incidentally, Kim Ga-eun and Go Won-hee, the supports, both have natural comedic timing - timing is the key to comedy, it's also in the hands of the director. Take the roll of the suitcase... the moment was timed perfectly, the fun in the reactions weren't quite there. But it could have been lost in the edit, so I'm not gonna say any more.

the time skip of 7 years is really long and im surprised he still remembers her from that long ago after that…
Maybe it's to show he's not petty - she should have been fired, even if he was the creepy guy, that's assault! Big moments tend to stick in our memory, maybe not the faces - but... when a face from an imprinted memory reappears in front of you it suddenly rings a giant gong, memory is fascinating.

If you don't like those clichés you might be disappointed, and if you claim to like K-romcom, what are you expecting?
You're allowed to dislike anything you want.

Pizza hut made a new pizza with ham and anchovies... but omg, it's got cheese and tomato on it, AGAIN?? WTF!

Others might say "what did you expect?" or "order something else".

Don't you think?

For some reason I am not liking the action of FL. For someone who have lived 18 lives she seems kind of blind…
I'm with you... my thoughts were about how she reconciles her male and female incarnations with her sexual preference... how does it work to remember a female lover when reborn later as female, and vice versa, must be complicated. I feel like I'm a killjoy for mentioning it, but that's what I was thinking about! After 19 lives she could have a lot of fun. I wonder how many lives it would take to reach an eventual psychotic meltdown, insanity must already be festering at #19.

So for I enjoy the drama but I wonder if 16 episodes would not have been better for this drama
Yes, the first episode seemed to cut very quickly through the backstory... saying that, it wasn't dull for a second. I'm on your side, I think over 16 episodes the cast and crew can cultivate a little more rapport and teamwork.

I fucking love this drama so much. The cast, the acting, the plot, the screenplay, the ost, everything is on the…
Jun-ho's character in King doesn't grab you, he seems the typical and trite chaebol at first.. but that drama will grow, worth sticking it out for 3 episodes imo, then decide. It's confusing they're both about hotels, I'm going to start getting confused about which drama each scene belongs to!
