It's good - there are already some nice exchanges between Im Soo-hyang and Kim Jung-hyun, both excellent actors, their repartee builds over the 2 episodes. It's fun and light... but not without some truly distressing scenes. I like Ahn Woo-yeon and the support actors... there's a 'but' coming... only annoying thing so far is appearance of a god (of boy-bands it seems?) and two pointless assistants, whose only purpose is to explain the plot in contrived conversations. For me, such characters take away the mystique and break the suspension of disbelief - if only the writers could have thought up something for them to do! Maybe they will later, who knows.
Acting award goes to Mr Choi who managed to deliver the line "that shop owner's the mom of my student, she didn't look that old though" with reasonable sincerity. Don't get me wrong, she's lovely and beautiful, but no reason a mum can't be all those things and also look her age.
Lol, Squid game is their no1 series why would they cancel it, needed or not Netflix milks their popular series…
ENA compromised the narrative to prep for a second season under Netflix's request/promise. S2 will have none of the charm of s1, been there, done it. S1 felt like something was not quite right. That's the way seasons ruin a good show.
Same! I was just thinking, if I saw a book with that cover I'd buy it straight away. I don't know much about this cast, but it looks like it's going to be intriguing.
What? I know MDL commenters like to spoil dramas - you're jumping the gun a bit
I get it, you're a true fan that looks deeply into her projects, I wasn't being serious - should have added a '😛' or something! Me too, since I saw My Mister I've had nothing but respect for her. We should call her Lee Ji-eun, another thing I love about her is the way she carries herself in the acting world, no airs.
I mean, Jung-yi became Jung_E when she became a robot.
