I already disliked MK, but after episode 11 I dislike her even more if that's possible! She is SO PATHETIC and…
She's playing the hand she's been dealt, I like her - we see her low points as you mentioned, it's depicting how the wealthy and powerful view ordinary folks as toys... But we've also seen her qualities, her feelings are sincere, her jealousy was real and so painful to watch. They're all good people, different is all.
Kyeongpil is unreadable to me. In the initial episodes, he was teasing sangsu about suyeong and even subtly cheering…
I think he's not headed in the direction you envisage. He's the friend who gets interested in the girls you like, tells them things to undermine you... with the objective of getting into their pants. He was making a move on Su-young at the drinks, he's chipping away. We'll probably find he's got a darker past than you imagine, not a lighter one... and his ugly side is bound to flare up as he continues to fail in his objectives. Just my opinion, I haven't read the book or anything. I'm just fully immersed in this drama, it's immense.
I love every second of this show. Every second carries some weight. The way Sang-su's mum looked at Mi-gyeong in the bank. Drama doesn't get better than this. Pure finesse throughout.
I'm happy Amazon's delving into k-dramas. I wish they'd understand how to write Korean names. Also the director of Payback is listed as working on 3 titles, but they're just 3 variations of the same work. Get your act together Amazon, your tech was never great, you've revamped your app, it's still lacking, seems to have no capacity for international correctness, still, after all this time. There's a world outside the USA ffs! Netflix is king when it comes to international features, right from the beginning.
I loved her in Mood of the Day (movie), so-so in Flower of Evil, but she looked great
Agree, she can play different characters and totally transform herself, talented and versatile. Mood of the Day was a fabulous film, I enjoyed it so much!

Ha ha! Everyone loved her Spotify podcast too it seems... NOT! If they paid (wasted) that much, they'll do whatever they can to claw some back. Total embarrassment for Netflix, low-level trash programming.
I just noticed the absurdity of your 3rd headline. Highest UK rating of the year... in fuckjng January? Comedy gold, thanks 😂
Thanks, nice article, I like your observations about the trends in viewing stats, your hints on where to watch and your positivity when reporting a dip !
I guess FL looks young for her age but i wouldn't say she's that good looking to be that popular. totally overrated.…
I'm interested to see your opinion, is it the first time you've seen Ha Ji-won? If so, I understand your opinion, of course she's reached her mid 40s now, she's moving into a new phase. She's a legend by reputation, in her younger days she was effervescent and pretty with a mean gaze down the barrel of a pistol or blade of a sword, mostly she played the spunky poor girl, I believe CC was her first chaebol. Anyway, she's earned her reputation, no way is she overrated. Not sure what surgery you spotted, she looks a little different now but maybe that's just age?... her skin looks a little (too) fair I suppose, she had her teeth straightened after her horror queen days, I don't see anything major. Have you seen Secret Garden? Empress Ki? Hwang Jin-yi? All incredible. Secret Garden still one of the best dramas I've seen, maybe the best leading couple ever. Maybe the best ever FL character depiction ever, I absolutely loved her and still do. If you judge her on Curtain Call alone where she was a stand-in, naturally it's not in the league of her top dramas, most aren't, and it looks like there were compromises all over the place - none of the characters were written to stand out, it was a subdued affair - no alarms and no surprises, like the kids' jet coaster at a theme park, just mellow but enjoyable!

😂 What data-driven wizardry led Netflix to invest $100m on Harry and Meghan, a total piece of trash that not only won't recoup its cost but has severely damaged the reputation of the business? It did not go down well with those shareholders you mentioned.
