I was so confused after reading the synopsis on Viki, I came here to know what it's really about. The brothers seem so cool in the beginning of the first episode, I'm already sad!

It's funny how they never die from stab wounds, but whenever an emperor starts coughing, it's obvious he's not going to last long. Traditionnal medecine seems to work wonders for wounds of all kind, but they have no clue how to treat a plain cold 🤭

Some people didn't like the part where they go to the Storm alliance and found it boring. Honestly, I wasn't bothered by that at all, it wasn't that long. After that everything is back on track, the revenge, etc. It was very satisfying!

Yes, that was me. But he was maybe a bit too obsessed with Yixiao, so it makes sense it didn't happen. I like it better this way, it doesn't feel forced at all, more natural for the character.

I didn't care for the scenes happening in Jinxiu. Until Xiyang divorces and got closer to the emperor. Then everytime we were in Jinxiu was a great! I never expected for that to happen and I have the emperor to thank. The actor is so good!

I'm enjoying the bond Suige and his siblings share. They are far away from one another but they are loyal and don't stop trusting the others no matter what. The three of them are doing whatever they can to uncover the truth and avenge their beloved ones. I love that.

I'm kind of hoping for the same thing. And it can happen. The prince ML did become emperor in A dream within a dream or Si Jin, for example.

I think Murong Yao's father was loyal just for the sake of his family. He knew that it was his best way of keeping Yao alive. In that way, I didn't find his betrayal that suprising, actually.
As for Xiyang, we get to enjoy the scenes with her, now. That's an unexpected bonus! Xiyang and the Emperor are the duo we didn't know we needed.

I think some trailers show her evolving, there's still hope for her!
