I'm rewatching the first episodes while waiting for the new ones to air. In episode 2, the emperor says the Heyuan general, Fang Shi Ming, that Nan Heng killed was a fake. We didn't hear about it again, right? Do you think it will make sense in later episodes? Is he really dead or will we see him again?

It's not going to get better in the next episodes, unfortunately! I feel your pain 😅

The emperor is still pretty awful with Nan Heng, but who knows? Do we give him the benefit of the doubt?
And poor Nan Rui doesn't how to use his newly found brain, of course he is going to make mistakes. And what a stupid thing to say to Nan Heng! 🙄

This time, the emperor asked for evidence, that's a first. And Nan Rui is starting to think with his head. Maybe there's still hope for them? 😄

He didn't immediately put the blame of the chancellor's death on Nan Heng, he even asked for proof first. That's unusual for the emperor... You could be right!

Tu as été plus raisonnable que moi, dans ce cas 😅 L'histoire est vraiment très réussie. Au départ, c'est à mourir de rire, mais l'histoire se développe sans même qu'on s'en rende compte et nous voilà incapables d'arrêter ! J'espère que ça va continuer comme ça. Bon épisode 12 aujourd'hui !

On which platform are you watching this? Viki only has up to episode 10 and I can't see it on Iqiyi (probably because of copyright restrictions ? I'm in France) and I want to see more soooo much! Does it work for you on Iqiyi?

The original movie it's based on was not depressing, it was a real comedy, so i'm hoping for the best! I'm looking forward to see how they reinterpret the original storyline. 😀
