Their father-son relationship is so difficult but everytime they meet, we can feel there's far more between them than what they want to say outloud. I loved their interaction in episode 18. Even if I sometimes think he's awful, I also kind of like this emperor. It's rare to see such a complex character, torn between so many responsibilities.
