Oh my goodness. XK is not a up and coming actor anymore . At this stage of his career , this is NO imo. Man ..........Yuzheng is so shady smh. I would feel really betrayed if I was him; no wonder fans are pissed.

Wow I just got all caught up with all this new drama; Sigh....Yu zheng. XK will never really be free and will continue to be used as long as he stays in this company imo. IMO he should do what some other artists of his caliber have been doing; have your own studio. He is established enough by now to do this. If I am not mistaken, apparently he resigned 2 years ago; Lord I hope that the the new contract is not for too long. FREE HIM !!!!

And it's like this with most dramas that have adaptations. That's why I don't like to read the novel beforehand hand. I truly believe that it spoils your enjoyment of the drama somehow and instead of focusing on enjoying the drama when it airs,you have a few people who will keep commenting "but in the book this and the 3rd happened" 😅😅😅.
Even her last favorite work of mine, ABAY, I didn't read the book and I'm glad that I didn't.
I like to be pleasantly surprised and not have any preconceived notions about what might happen but I understand that others prefer to know beforehand. To each their own 🤷🤷🤷

But that's how it was in these times though. Although it is reprehensible... historically that kind of behavior was accurate. Personally I wouldn't mind if it is depicted like that. Maybe because I love history and I like to learn how things were back then. I understand why people would be repulsed by it. I don't like it either but that's truly how it was in these times...during the Ming dynasty and some other dynasties.
