Please, don't get me wrong too. I'm not saying people shouldn't express their opinions. I'm just trying to defend our FL, saying she's dumb is too harsh. We haven't even gotten to the next tribulation [face palm] that one would truly frustrate people if they go along with the book, lol. At that point I might agree even though that situation was not her fault.

And please, for new people coming to check the comments to decide whether to watch. Please, ignore the negative comments. I had been waiting for this drama for almost a year now. When it finally aired, i was so excited. I watched the first six episodes on the first day, I truly liked it, then I came to MDL comment section [sigh] the comments honestly dampened my enthusiasm for a few days, goes to show how much word of mouth affects us humans so much. I resumed with episode 7 to 12 today and I was asking myself "why did I stop watching this, it's still so interesting to me" Even with the fact that I've read the novel, I knew what would happen. The story was still touching, I even like that I hated that stupid Prince Ning.

To conclude, please watch the drama if you want to, judge it by your own standards and ignore the people that say it's bad. Even the FL's acting is not bad at all. She has gotten much better.

It seems that just a few of us are truly enjoying this drama. I think most people are being too hard on the FL, let's remember that she doesn’t know what we know [that Prince Ning is bad news] she thought he was her friend and wanted to help. How many of you wouldn't welcome a friendly face in times of tribulation? Is she a mind reader? Even in the heavenly realm, her job was just to match couples not write their fates. Rather than using the word "Dumb", I would rather say she was naive and took people at face value. Even in the novel, she went back voluntarily and decided to marry the prince as well thinking it would save her parents. Everything that has happened so far apart from a few deviations [like the stone goblin and LCK's cousin] has happened according to what was written by the author. I believe even the deviations will come full circle eventually.

I was thinking, could Shang Que be Jin Lian's descendant?

I think so too, I'm already so attached to them. I was tensed throughout episode 6.

Wasn't Chu Kong a celestial star in the novel? Or am I missing something?

Junho mentioned that he wanted his next project after The Red Sleeve to be something lighthearted and not too serious, so I am sure he knew what he was doing when choosing to work on this drama. He has still got a lot of time to "improve his acting skills". This drama will add to his range and repertoire of dramas. Besides, the actors you mentioned are older, he is younger, do you expect him to take up this kind of role when he is 40 years old?

You're right. But what Xu Qin was teaching was a little more advanced than CPR e.g. how and where to tie a tourniquet, how to treat a pneumothorax which I don't think anyone without a good medical knowledge should attempt, lol.

Actually, I think they mentioned that the older members of the team were trained and the training would be for the newer members as well as a refresher course for the others.

All I'm gonna say is that "the heart wants what it wants". It's not easy to get over someone and just "move on" as you say. Let's not forget this drama is adapted from a book, it's going to happen according to what the author has already written, like you said there's nothing we can do about it. So, we have to watch the story unfold. I believe she will redeem herself in future episodes.

Most people are quite impatient and expect a drama and characters to be perfect right from the beginning, forgetting that these characters need the time and chance to grow and be better too. Just go ahead and enjoy the drama, some of us love it a lot too.

And maybe I would advice the people not enjoying the episodes for now to wait until it has finished airing to binge watch. Some dramas are better when you watch it all at once.
