I am not excusing what her father did, but he is still her father and should be accorded the respect. That is what LC was trying to tell her when he shook his head "Don't talk to your father like that". He stood there for a long while before interfering when she spoke about her father's character.

Yes, it is fantasy. But not fantasy based on the modern world which we live in. If it was modern, you could consider an 18 year old a teenager. You can call it xianxia/fantasy all you like but since they chose to model it according to the old ways, it is STILL historical.

I don't know how you judge dramas, but coming to this page, seeing the ratings and the amount of comments should give you a hint about how good the drama is. And also, the FL is 18 years old, in historical drama perspective, a good enough age to get married.
