Yes it was cute and I loved the actor from goodbye my princess in which his performance was amazinf and so intense. The starry love was cute but not as intense as tteotm. But I recommend it for a well written fell good xianxia.

When Ming Ye saw again Sang Jiu after regaining his eyesight he had a more intense reaction and so touching though he didn't even think she was dead they only broke up. Here Tantai Jin looked for her for 500 years. When she died he tried to die with her, he slept in her coffin with her. Seing her again should have suscitated a more intense reaction. He should have cried, held her... but he only tested her. This is not the way he usually acted. As for Li Su Su maybe her reaction is due yo the fact that she had been cultivating to get rid of her emotions.

40 episodes is not few. K drama are 16 episodes most of the time and they are always well edited with an understandung flow of the story. I think those last few eps have been badly scripted.

Until now romance scenes were neautiful. When Ming Ye saw Sang Jiu after gaining back his eyesight was so romantic and beautiful. Their wedding scene as well. Only 2 episodes before, tantai jin mourning for ye xiwu was really romantic. Only this scene was disappointing. Most from tantai jin point because he just spent 500 years looking for her, there's only her for him. He thought never to see her again but he didn't even cry. When Ming Ye saw Sang Jiu again he looked totally dumbfounded and emotional. Here the scene was rushed.

But why is the editing suddenly catastrophic?

They meet after 500 years and they don't even look suprised. Tantai jin doesn't cry or react in his usual passionate way. LI SU SU doesn't look surprised. This is really underwhelming. They teased this reunion for 2 episodes this is weird. And what is with this editing? The editing was perfect until episode 32. The music was super high we didn't hear the dialogue. Then after meeting after 500 years, Li Susu escape and next scene we see her cry for 5 secondes. The music is stopped in the middle of a sentence. It jumps from 1 scene to the other. This is weird. And I am disappointed because this drama is my favorite despite the awful editing of this epidode the acting, plot, chemistry music. Everything is perfect but I don't know the edition team may have been taking substances for this episode...
