Action choreography was done well for ep 9. Realistic and not embarrassing. This series is great because while it’s a bl, it’s focus is not fan service or spicy scenes. It’s focus is telling a story and all the pieces and parts, emotional, spicy, action, sadness blends well. The pacing is good where one episode flows well into another. Cast did a good job, but kudos to those behind the scenes. Script writer, director, action choreography, nc choreography. I also felt the nc scenes were done tastefully and not cringe. I hope the cast get more acting opportunities after this not just in bl stories but other types of stories too to show their range and have more opportunities for growth.

In the ep10 preview, does Jay get caught?

Try Heart Signals chinese version season 6. This was one of the best seasons of the chinese version. Some of the couples from heart signals chinese past seasons have even gotten married too.

How did he get himself stuck in the room in the first place?

I think they change the names since this is a Thai adaptation, so some things changing to match the culture or normal dialog of the language is understandable.

The music being played during the photoshoot with the flashbacks, I think that scene was done pretty well. You can see the sorrow in his eyes and the flashbacks just at the right moment made me feel more for what Sun has gone through. I think the adaptation quality on this has been really well done so far and everyone in the cast so far fit their roles well. It not just the leads that make a drama great, but if the casting of everyone combined is great it makes it a really great watch. I forgot I'm watching a bl drama and am invested in the story. Looking forward to see how he gets his revenge and how the love story unfolds. I have not read or seen the manhwa.

Happy to see Sui Yuan Qing and Xie Wu in this drama as well. Those who watched Pursuit of Jade will know 😀

I am also happy to see the young emperor not being a total fool. Maybe it thanks to Yanyun teaching him before. Hope he stays this way and doesn’t become foolish like other dramas where the old emperors are so full of jealousy and hate.
