Can't wait for season 2. I just finished re-watching season 1 and it's still so good to watch. The whole cast has such great chemistry with each other.

I have a question, om yhr novel, did she seduce the 2nd prince or she just works with him for him to gain power? I feel the 2nd prince would be too smart to fall for her tricks.

I agree. She stood out right from the beginning. Hope to see more of her. This is also the first drama of LXY as a main lead that I have watched and liked to continue. I think because the story so far is interesting. Hope it stays on same good pace and don't fall downhill.

I do feel like she can do an evil character well. Wonder if she will ever take on such a role though. It would interesting to see her in an evil role but a good heart deep down.

Did he find out she is his beloved yet?

Oh wow, thanks. But I'm a bit confused how they are not blood related. So is the emperor mom and dad not her mom, then how did she become the sister? Unless she is adopted or was given the title out of generosity? I didn't read the novel so I don't know the back story.

I have a question. I'm re-watching Joy of Life season 1. So grand princess, Li Qin's mom, is she the emperor's sister? Because if Fan Xian is his son, would they make them related? Or was there something about the Grand Princess that I mised? thanks

I watched the whole thing, but I didn't see Xiao Niu speech. Was it on ep39? I agree this was a roller-coaster journey that I didn't think much about. It was a great slice of life. I too also cried, laugh, and at times just angry. While it would have been great that Ma Kui lived, at least he died honorably. With the understanding between him and his son in law, Wang Xin probably could have guessed what Ma Kui would have said. This is a series I will definitely remember for awhile. I'm glad Niu Dali was able to move on and let go of Yao. He worked hard and became successful. While Yao character was not the best, realistically she just wanted a secure and comfortable life like most ppl. But one good thing from her character is she was the motivation for Dali to change his life. Seeing how people lived back in the old days definitely reminded me how lucky we are to be living in the modern times right now.

Why his character keep dying? Does his character also die in Prisoner of Beauty? If not then I'm sad the one drama where he lives is not airing...
