I feel like it because of the 40eps limit. They have too much to cover for the story so probably had to cut it there. However I am ok with the fast pace romance in this. Since the main focus is really Amai’s journey and her experience in the military.

I read somewhere the direct translation should be "Amai goes to Battle/War" something like that. They did the same thing woth A Journey to Love where it was really different from the actual chinese title. I don't get why they need to put the word love in every title translated.

So far 4 men already know she is a girl. Now just waiting for Xiu er to find out. Hope it's soon.

Actually he starts growing later and they have a few conversations that are on a more deeper level together. I only ff their scenes in the beginning but since the recent episodes to me I find it worth watching since it's possible to miss out on some emotional aspects of the story. I personally though like it more if she falls in love with 2nd ML, since I feel they have better chemistry.

I wanted her scenes with 2nd ML to be longer. ML personality is growing on me, but not as a love interest for FL.

Omg this is beautiful. 2ML hugging scene! I really wished they did more a direct translation of the Chinese series title rather than it be Fighting For Love. Her character is more heroic and not just a female who thinks about love and marriage. So the chinese title meaning is more fitting in my opinion. Love this MV and song. Thanks for sharing.

For novel readers, when will 2nd ML find out FL is a female? Also does anyone know when Xiu er will finally find out too? Thanks

I feel like he has been hiding his true abilities.

I also felt a bit that it was a bit similar to Joy of Life emperor. However I feel maybe they made him to be messy hair etc., because he is going crazy afraid one day the real crown prince will come and take everything away from him. That why he was more concerned with bring ML back than defending. Which doesn't make sense if he's a smart emperor but it also make sense cause if ML make military contributions and have trustworthy followers he won't be able to kill him anymore.

I personally find this series so far is much better than the Long Ballad. I would recommend it if you like this genre.

I do feel like he is not totally a naive guy. It might just be his personality doesn't take things seriously on the surface. I feel like he may end up being one of those most scheming person that you would least expect from. But I didn't read the novel, so for novel readers how was his character written in the book?

I agree! Aside from looking like a girl, her actions and way of speaking is like a guy. Even the way she walks. She is doing a great job! Hope to see more of her in other series after this. She is also very beautiful.

I too am glad that at least one of the leads found out she is a girl early on. I hate it with other dramas when it takes forever.

This drama has turned out to be a pleasant surprise compared to all the less interesting dramas out right now. I wonder why they didn't put out a trailer that focus more on the emotional part of the story and FL journey rather than a comedic trailer. I feel like that may affect viewership if people wanting a serious drama think it's just a rom com.

I think it was more so she had a moment of where her heart was really touched. She grew up without her parents so receiving such care and attention from someone she was very touched. in the spur of the moment, it can lead to such emotions. Especially of it's someone you trust. She probably trusted him enough to reveal her whole story and identity.

I wanted to see her fall in love YuQing too. I did not read the novel, but so far ML character out of the 3 males is the least interesting to me. I hope somewhere down the line of the series it does happen. Since the ending credits does show her marrying 2nd ML, albeit she has a sword to his neck.
