I have hope for him to turn good too. After recent eps it does seem he has more admiration for his shifu than the romantic way. It just maybe he was never really loved as a child so he doesn't know how to express it right. It will all depend on how the writer writes his parts.

I am predicting that LTG might end up being YY protector. Not sure yet if she will end up with YL cause of his heart condition. She may just become strong and devote to helping others without being a couple with anyone. I do kind of ship them though since I think they will make an interesting pair. Also since she not all into him from the start I feel she maybe able to build a stronger relationship with him than his other potentials.

I agree. She shows her range here. I was thinking the same throughout Tiger Crane, but then I realized was it because we she was playing the role of a wooden puppet? Which is what she was right? That why throughout her expression rarely changed. Anyways I do really like her in this one and her real voice goes well with her character too.

To me, I find that Liu Yuning is the perfect NYZ. He has the mature but humble look. To me he is playing the character very well which makes him very attractive. They chose the right actor to pair with LSS especially for the age range I feel it was a good match. I don't understand the negativity towards him just because he is not handsome. His height is great for visuals. His character as a person as from what I've seen is very respectful. To me he is an attractive guy. I love the fact that he come from humble background, but even now that he is famous he doesn't seem to put on airs. I think it because he is very mature, and that make him to me very likeable. I hope he continues to get more ML opportunity. To me, a good actor is not just about looks. An actor who is handsome but bad personality in real life is a turn off. An actor that is handsome but can't act, will ruin a whole series. I've watched a few with good looking ML, but they couldn't act so I ended up dropping the series. And these were high budget series. Also, the actor need to fit well for the character they are playing too. Also to add, how LYN came out and was honest and quick to respond about his previous marriage before he made it as a singer, made me respect him even more. How many celebrities nowadays will be straight to the point and honest like that. He showed that he is a real man and responsible. He doesn't deserve the hate comments just because of his looks. I don't understand cyber bullies. How can they say mean stuff to someone they don't know and that person has never done anything to them personally. This industry can change people. I hope he stays as a good man as he currently is (from what I can see)

I do find that YY and YL seem more like siblings right now. They make a good duo and are funny shipping NX and Ruyi. It's like they are shipping their big bri and sis together. I find it cute. There is also a risk YL might die b4 he is 20. Someone mentioned that YY might end up with LTG

I feel it might not necessarily mean she will die. When they film the scenes are not filmed in order. It could be they shot her scenes first due to cast schedules.

I feel like his obsession with Ruyi is not romantic but more of he doesn't want to be abandoned. So he is obsession is based on the comfort he feels with her by his side, hot necessarily romantic. That just what I feel from him sitting on the floor leaning on her. More like a child with his sister or mom, not lover. So hope his obsessive behavior will end soon.

I wouldn't say any of the leads are similar to Xiang Liu FBB, but it's a good series. Both male and female leads are smart.

I don't think it shows that he is needy, I think it is just trying to show how much his feeling have grown for her. With how the pacing has been, my guess is this jealous phase will pass soon.
