Where did you read it ? Is there an English translation ?
They also have a hard book translation that is coming out in September. It is published by Seven Seas Entertainment. They have other Chinese BLs translation too. Sha Po Lang is called Chaos of the stars. https://sevenseasdanmei.com/
Hi. I'm reading at the part where reborned Mo Ran chooses his weapon. The spirit Ji Baihua tells him " to yearn…
Oh I am reading Scum Villian too, hehe.It is more comedic and light hearted. I just have the last volume and I'll be done with it. I am just a bit surprised on it right now cause the love seem to be one sided. So I am not seeing it as really a love story. SPL will be my first Priest read. The only other story of Priest that I would know about is probably Word of Honor. I do like strategic stories though, but I can see how a live adaptation would be helpful on explaining some details. I am also looking forward to the drama version of SPL, but since I do not know when or if we can see that, I'm glad I can still read the story. I've read to the part where Chu Wanning turns into a little boy. I feel so happy that at least during this time he has happy memories with his disciples. I wish he could maintain same relationship with them when he is in adult form. Make me feel so much for his character. Before reading, I was more interested in Mo Ran's character, but after reading I'm have had more feelings for Chu Wanning's character. He has kept so many things and sufferings to himself. He deserve more happiness and more acknowledgment from Mo Ran than he is getting right now.

Haha, yes cause I read through them so fast. I prefer one more Iike HOB since it seem to be more on the happier than angst like 2HA. I can't read Chinese so I depend on the English translated novels. Right now the ones that are set to come out are Guardian, Remnants, Thousand Autumns, and Sha Po Lang. I pre-ordered Sha Po Lang but it will be a few months before it is released. I was thinking about Thousand Autumns but I want something with a happy ending, and I don't know if this will be a HE or not. Is Meatbun known for angsty heartbreaking stories?

Have you by chance read Remnants of Fith by the same author as 2Ha? I have this question before but no one responded so since you have read Husky novel I thought I would ask. I will have to wait until September for book 3 to come out so wondering if Remnants is worth reading while I wait. Which is also why I'm reading HOB since they come out a different times I have something to read after I finish a volume. But I do love HOB. Agree that the two authors have diff styles.
Hi. I'm reading at the part where reborned Mo Ran chooses his weapon. The spirit Ji Baihua tells him " to yearn…
Yeah, as I'm reading I keep anticipating what is going to happen and it's unpredictable. I'm reading this and Heaven Official Blessing at the same time, and this one I actually kept reading into the wee hours. Whereas HOB I could stop to go to bed after a chapter. I love both though so far. The drawings of HOB is really beautiful too.

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, as I kept reading it did get revealed so I understand now. I just finished the 1st eng translated book. I'm so mad at how blind Mo Ran is with his obession of Shi Mei that he doesn't see clearly who love him dearly, his shizun. Aye, I just hope he will come to that realization in this lifetime before it's too late. He has been given a second chance to make things right...ah so much tension as I read on
Question for those who read the novel below. I'm reading it and don't understand one part.
Hi. I'm reading at the part where reborned Mo Ran chooses his weapon. The spirit Ji Baihua tells him " to yearn unwittingly breaks the willow branch" what does this mean? And then he turns into a black chess piece, what does this symbolizes? Thanks
Is the halt maybe due to editing? I read they used a picture of a Blackpink member in one of the episodes and had to issue an apology. Hopefully the halt is just because they are making sure no other issues with the next episodes. Or it could be they changed the schedule of when it airs. It also happens sometimes with some series...hoping for the best. The fact that 8 episodes are still on the app and not taken down I'm hoping is a good sign.
For those who have read Meatbun's other novel Remnants of Filth, is it worth reading or as good as Erha Husky and his White Car Shizun? I'm starting to read Erha and see that Remnants of Filth by the same author will be available in English so just wondering if I should pick it up or not. Tia.
Seriously subpar element would be quality or post-production problems. I for one will not hold it against them…
Yes, while I would love for proper subs, I'm glad we still at least get auto translated. It's true for c-dramas, westerners are the minority audience, we need to accept that fact. For me I don't speak Mandarin so I rely on the subs. But I've watched enough dramas to be able to put things together even with bad subs. It's obvious that they released this very low key and I believe that is so it doesn't explode and cause trouble for any future cut version of BL adaptation to come out. As we have seen with Word of Honor explosion it caused a full ban on bl adaptations. I think the loosen rules only apply to the dramas that prob already permitted to air before the ban. I think those that didn't make the cut may be tbd. I'm just happy this even got release. A reminder to fans if we want to see other adaptations to keep supporting but don't cause attention. I believe the bl adaptations that were already in the making have a good amt of followers so they don't need to do promotions for fans to find the series and watch.
Chen Feiyu is a talented actor, a gem in the acting industry. Many can try to cancel him, but he will rise again,…
I don't think he would get cancelled for this. It's not like he did anything illegal. He just like any other human being. Dating and intimacy go together. I don't understand why this is viewed as something negative. It's his own private matter and personally I view the paparazzi exposing it should get sued for using photos without consent.
They definitely edited out whole chunks. There's so many scenes with what feels like critical information forced…
Yeah, at first I got confused, but since I know this was shelved for awhile I understood that maybe they had to cut some scenes to air. I'm just happy we get to see it. Even though they had to cut some scenes, I think they did their best to not make it too confusing to still follow along the story.
I feel there is more bromance between Wang Yan and Lan Jue. Wonder if anyone is feeling the same? Wang Yan is so protective of Lan Jue whenever he needs it. I love it when they show Lan Jue with his hair down. Looks so nice. I also noticed some scenes were cut maybe due to censorship? Like when Zhang Ping's arm got injured. It was wrapped up a few mintues later but they didn't show the part of who wrapped his arm. And then all of a sudden one scene Wang Yan was ok and then he was poisoned. I think even though it was bromance they prob had to tone it down considering the tight censorship around bls nowadays over there.
