I thought this was a great continuation of their story. It’s not like typical dramas in the fact that it is more realistic, which is not a bad thing. However, this does make it a slow burn. I enjoyed it and definitely recommend watching it if you liked the series. The actors have good chemistry.

Beautiful masterpiece! Probably my favorite Japanese drama I’ve seen. Loved the tracking through the ages - added a great touch and they were able to cover so much of their lives in such a short drama. Absolute must watch for everyone!

It actually was first used in the American gay film Brokeback Mountain in the early 2000s. But yes, it’s been used in a few BLs. It fits those kind of scenes PERFECTLY!
